Meet Velma! This sweet girl is a 2 year old came from the mill as a breeding dog. They told us she is a Beabull (bulldog beagle), but we really think she is a "boggle" - a boxer beagle mix. Velma is 41 lbs and has a petite frame. She has the CUTEST nub tail. Velma was shy upon arrival but is gradually opening up with all the socialization she is getting with her Dog Gone Crazy. foster team who are doting on her. Velma is dog friendly. We are looking for a family that will give Velma all the love and attention she seeks, but also give her the confidence she needs to experience new things. Because a lot of things are new to Velma - like the sounds of garbage cans blowing in the wind, or televisions. Velma would do great learning from another dog to teach her the ways. Patsy was graded as an A+ cuddle buddy, and you'll be tempted to spend all day petting her luscious rolls. She absolutely belongs stretched out on a plush spot on the couch! Patsy is also a silly, spunky, and playful gal who is full of life and entertaining charm. She enjoys her walks and play time. Patsy has also been playfully social with other dogs and she has a fun time wiggling around the yards with a favorite toy (and showing off her buns!) She's a great sport for trying out all sorts of new activities and adventures, and her earnestly enthusiastic, clumsy approach to life is sure to bring a smile to your face. When she's excited, she can get a little jumpy and exuberant and with this and her size, she would do best in a home with older kids and adults. It doesn't take her too much activity before she's ready to settle back down and snuggle. Patsy is also a smarty who knows sit and down, and she listens well. Bruno went to Hollywood Feed in Avon and he was the star of the show!! We just can't believe he is still HOMELESS! Bruno is approximately 3-4 yrs old, Pit/Boxer mix, 54 lbs. This guy was abandoned in Avon Lake, no one claimed him or recognized him? ;-(. We had him neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped, and he tested negative for HW. He is a great dog! Bruno is housebroken and crate-trained. We named him Bruno because he has the moves like Bruno Mars HA!! He already seems to know his new name;-) He is very treat-motivated and knows his basic commands. He likes other dogs and loves to act like a HAM!! He has a BIG smile and awesome personality. He completed his "board and train" program and is ready for his forever home or temporary foster! He does have a lot of energy so will need an active owner. If you are interested in Bruno, please submit an online application, so we can learn a little about you to make sure Bruno would be a good match for you and your family.
