This kid is an absolute riot! He is a year old going on 3 months! Those long, clumsy legs of his gets him places so swiftly he’ll probably knock you down if you are in his way 😊He is full of enthusiasm, playfulness, joy and absolute glee 😊 Every day is a good day for JuJu. Every day you will find JuJu romping around, exploring all he can explore, taking in all the sniffs and sights. When JuJu isn’t exploring, he is snuggling right next to you. He is noticeably more comfortable with women then men. Perhaps there was some mistreatment in his past by a man ☹ Treats with slow approach seems to be the trick at initial meets with men. Watch the puppy in him come out and soon his innate bouncy, happy self comes alive 😊 JuJu is about a year old, 60lbs Boxer Staffy mix. He is looking for an active home where his silly, bouncy, enthusiastic ways are embraced, cuddles and snuggles afterwards are met. JuJu has so much potential to be dynamite. He is a shiny star. He wants to shine with you.

If we could all be like Boomer, what a wonderfully happy and positively charged world this would be! You don’t know happy until you meet Boomer! This kid wears a permanent smile on his face. That body and tail of his when he meets you …. they go at a hundred miles an hour! That rigorous body sway sucks you into getting excited about whatever it is he is excited about LOL Boomer is a lot of fun to be with. He plays wonderfully with dogs (no cats), walks rather well on a leash given his overly enthusiastic happy personality (minor finetuning needed), and eager to make friends with everyone and every dog he meets! He is just a silly, playful, wiggly oversized 70lb puppy! Despite his overzealous big personality, he stays focused enough to learn a few commands. He sits on command and sits nicely for a treat. One of Boomer’s classic specialties is balancing two tennis balls in his mouth 😊 It is quite comical to watch. You can’t help but break into a huge grin 😊 Boomer is about a year old, 70lbs of happy! He is looking for a home where adventures happen on a fly, humans and resident dogs love to engage in play and silly things. If you and your family are into adventures and a happy dog to tag along with, look no further! Boomer is your guy 😊

Josie was feral but was rescued by a family with two dogs and a teenage son. She lived with them for four years, last year the grandmother was diagnosed with dementia and moved into the home. The household became more stressful. Josie attacked the smaller dog, and they were afraid that she may attack the grandmother. She was confined to the kennel most of the time. In November, I took her off their hands to give her a less stressful environment, even though I have little experience with dogs. I work from home, and I have partial custody of my children. Josie is a great companion for me, she sleeps with me each night, listens pretty well, and doesn't chew or have accidents. However, she acts aggressively toward my children and strangers. My children are afraid of her. I have listed her with two other rescues and haven't heard back on placements. She is great when it is just me, but she is kenneled or on a leash when anyone is here. She deserves a better life than I can provide for her.

Carter is one of our most special pups! Carter came in very timid and unfortunately, injured on his hind leg. Our medical staff quickly got to work fixing him up and once cleared, not only was his leg better but his personality blossomed immensely! Carter is one of the most active, playful, fun pups you will meet. He loves all toys, squeaky is his favorite but he would spend hours running around in a yard with one if we let him! Carter has recently completed a board and train with Miracle K-9 and has perfected his good boy skills. He was very social with other pups there, females and some male dogs as well. Dakota is currently located at Grafton and Reintegration Center. If you'd like to make an appointment to meet him please contact Laura: 330-441-0813 Our very handsome Dakota is a recent graduate of our prison training program where he learned all of his basic obedience including sit, down, stay, come, leave, and place. He has good leash manners and makes a great walking companion. He is house-broken and is able to be either in or out of a crate. Dakota does have a fair amount of energy, and will do well with a family who will keep up with his training and keep him busy. Dakota gets along with most other dogs, but his handler in the prison program is recommending that he be the only dog in his home. He will also need to go to home without cats. Dakota was surrender to ARF when his dad passed away and now he's looking for his forever home
