Story
Meet Velma! This sweet girl is a 2 year old came from the mill as a breeding dog. They told us she is a Beabull (bulldog beagle), but we really think she is a "boggle" - a boxer beagle mix. Velma is 41 lbs and has a petite frame. She has the CUTEST nub tail. Velma was shy upon arrival but is gradually opening up with all the socialization she is getting with her Dog Gone Crazy. foster team who are doting on her. Velma is dog friendly. We are looking for a family that will give Velma all the love and attention she seeks, but also give her the confidence she needs to experience new things. Because a lot of things are new to Velma - like the sounds of garbage cans blowing in the wind, or televisions. Velma would do great learning from another dog to teach her the ways. If you're interested in Velma, email therescueinn@gmail.com AND complete an application here: https://therescueinn.com/adoption-application.html

Story
Meet Dolly 🌸 She is a low-maintenance, easygoing girl who enjoys short walks, lounging in the sun, and relaxing in the grass. She loves affection and quiet companionship more than anything. She gets along with other animals as long as they give her space, she’d do best in a calm home with relaxed pets or as the only animal. Dolly is a gentle 9-year-old, 55-pound sweetheart who has overcome more hardship than any dog should. She spent the first part of her life chained to a tree in Indiana for three long years, used for breeding until she could no longer have puppies. When she was no longer wanted, she was left to live in a car in Ohio. 🌸Despite everything she’s been through, Dolly’s heart is pure gold. She’s now working on gaining back some healthy weight and learning what it feels like to be safe and loved. She’s spayed, fully vaccinated, and recently had a few growths removed, so she’s ready for her forever home. After everything she’s survived, Dolly truly deserves a peaceful, loving place to call home, one where she can finally just be loved. ❤️ Text to meet Dolly 🌸440.773.1707 / (216) 470-4322❤️

MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Blaze, a 1-year-old, 52-pound Boxer mix, is a good boy through and through with a wonderful medium-energy personality. He enjoys playtime and activity, but he’s just as happy giving love and soaking up affection. Blaze is currently learning his commands and is a great listener who responds well to guidance. He can be a little jumpy at times, but he corrects easily and is eager to please. Blaze does well with kids and other dogs and has not yet met cats. He walks nicely on a leash overall, though he may pull a bit when he spots something exciting—something that will continue to improve with practice. Blaze is both crate trained and potty trained, making him an easy and lovable companion. Sweet, attentive, and well-balanced, Blaze would be a great fit for a family looking for a dog who can play, learn, and cuddle right alongside them. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the rescue location as it is a privately run boarding, training, & grooming facility. Individual meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Petey is a 1-year-old, 50-pound Boxer mix with a heart as big as his goofy grin. This happy-go-lucky boy plays hard and loves even harder, and his adorable bunny hop when he chases his toys is guaranteed to make you smile. Petey loves stuffed toys, balls (especially the big ones!), and bones to chew. He does an amazing job entertaining himself, but when he’s ready for affection, he’ll lean right into you with the cutest snuggle request. Despite his size, Petey would happily curl up in your lap if you let him. He keeps his crate clean and takes treats incredibly gently. Petey had a rough start in life where humans failed him, yet he’s shown nothing but love in return—a true testament to his sweet and forgiving nature. Petey does great with other dogs and has not yet met cats. On walks, he may pull on the leash at times, but he listens well and will stop and sit when you talk to him. Overall, he’s just a big, lovable goofball looking for a forever home where he can play, snuggle, and finally get the love he deserves. Story
Miss Patsy’s bio from her stay at the shelter: Miss Patsy has been a hit for various activities off-site, from hikes to exploring agility centers to hanging out at a volunteer's house. Patsy was graded as an A+ cuddle buddy, and you'll be tempted to spend all day petting her luscious rolls. She absolutely belongs stretched out on a plush spot on the couch!   Patsy is also a silly, spunky, and playful gal who is full of life and entertaining charm. She enjoys her walks and play time. Patsy has also been playfully social with other dogs and she has a fun time wiggling around the yards with a favorite toy (and showing off her buns!) She's a great sport for trying out all sorts of new activities and adventures, and her earnestly enthusiastic, clumsy approach to life is sure to bring a smile to your face. When she's excited, she can get a little jumpy and exuberant and with this and her size, she would do best in a home with older kids and adults. It doesn't take her too much activity before she's ready to settle back down and snuggle. Patsy is also a smarty who knows sit and down, and she listens well. She also seems housebroken (no accidents) and rides well in the car. She definitely already has some manners down. Patsy has a lot of personality and she's ready to share it with a family. This goofy, attentive lady is estimated to be around 3 years old and weighs 76 lbs.November 19, 2025, 8:39 pm

Not good with kids, House-trained, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Adopted from a shelter he is estimated to be about 1-2, he’s not fixed but is up to date on all shots. He has gotten comfortable at home and has recently started showing more of an aggressive side with growling towards my 2 year old daughter so ideally unless he gets proper training I would say probably not good with kids. He does great on walks loves treats loves to cuddle. He’s a very handsome boy takes treats very gentle he just needs some training as he’s still a young pup. Loves to play with toys loves car rides! He’s definitely a boy that loves to be outside!
