Story
Meet Ebony! 🐾 Ebony is an adult boxer–bulldog mix with a sweet, silly personality that’s guaranteed to make you smile. She’s friendly, affectionate, well mannered, and full of charm, especially once she feels comfortable. She is working on her leash manners, but is getting better every day! Ebony will do best with a patient, loving family who can continue helping her build confidence and show her just how special she is. Her foster parent describes her as: "Just a happy curious, loyal pup! A 55 lb cuddle bug!" She’s a fun, playful girl who also loves to snuggle. Squeaky balls, tug-of-war, and butt scratches are at the top of her favorites list, and treats are a great motivator for bonding and learning. Ebony does wonderfully with kids and other dogs but would prefer a cat-free home. When playtime is over, you’ll find her happily curled up on a comfy bed or buried in blankets—soft, cozy spots are her happy place. Ebony is crate trained and does well spending the night in her crate, patiently waiting in the morning. While she prefers being close to her people whenever possible, she settles nicely when needed. She walks well on a leash and is curious about the world around her! With love, patience, and a little humor, Ebony will make a loyal, cuddly, and endlessly lovable companion. To meet this sweet girl, please text Kristen @440-376-7995 The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A meet-and-greet is required for all shelter dogs if you already have a dog. Thank you for considering the adoption of a shelter animal in need!

Story
Miss Patsy’s bio from her stay at the shelter: Miss Patsy has been a hit for various activities off-site, from hikes to exploring agility centers to hanging out at a volunteer's house. Patsy was graded as an A+ cuddle buddy, and you'll be tempted to spend all day petting her luscious rolls. She absolutely belongs stretched out on a plush spot on the couch!   Patsy is also a silly, spunky, and playful gal who is full of life and entertaining charm. She enjoys her walks and play time. Patsy has also been playfully social with other dogs and she has a fun time wiggling around the yards with a favorite toy (and showing off her buns!) She's a great sport for trying out all sorts of new activities and adventures, and her earnestly enthusiastic, clumsy approach to life is sure to bring a smile to your face. When she's excited, she can get a little jumpy and exuberant and with this and her size, she would do best in a home with older kids and adults. It doesn't take her too much activity before she's ready to settle back down and snuggle. Patsy is also a smarty who knows sit and down, and she listens well. She also seems housebroken (no accidents) and rides well in the car. She definitely already has some manners down. Patsy has a lot of personality and she's ready to share it with a family. This goofy, attentive lady is estimated to be around 3 years old and weighs 76 lbs.November 19, 2025, 8:39 pm

Story
Meet Paxton – Your Loyal Adventure Buddy with a Heart of Gold Paxton is a handsome 2½-year-old brindle Pit Bull/Boxer mix who has been patiently waiting for his forever home — and we can’t figure out why. He’s been in foster care for two years, and during that time he’s shown himself to be an incredibly loving, well-mannered, and loyal companion. Like many thoughtful dogs, Paxton can take a little time to warm up to new people, but once he does, his sweet and affectionate personality shines through. It doesn’t take long at all for him to relax and show just how loving and loyal he is. Paxton is off-leash trained using a remote collar and does beautifully with structure and guidance. He’s house trained, happily crates (his crate is his safe space), and settles well in the home. He’s the kind of dog who thrives on routine but also knows how to relax and just be near his people. One of Paxton’s favorite things? Other dogs. He absolutely loves canine companionship and would do best in a home with another friendly dog to play with and learn from. He shines in social settings and truly enjoys having a buddy by his side. Paxton is affectionate without being overbearing, playful without being wild, and attentive without being needy. He’s the type of dog who forms a deep bond and wants nothing more than to be part of a family that sees how special he is. He’s waited a long time for his person — or his people — and he’s more than ready to give his whole heart to a forever home. To apply, please fill out the application at www.cledogrescuecrew.com.

Story
Sweet Baby wants to be your companion! She is chill and low maintenance (for the most part haha) if she isn’t being forward soliciting pets and leaning into your legs when getting pets. She is happiest when she is interacting with humans. She loves being a ‘turtle’ for back scratches. She will kick her back legs in the air because the feeling of being scratched is soooooo good! At 10 years old, Baby still enjoys long walks and light jogging/nighttime runs. After that, you can find her wiped out on the couch (or her bed) snoring extremely loudly, sometimes even howling in her sleep. Must be a good dream! 😊 Baby’s favorite TV show is SpongeBob. She listens intently to his conversations. Cute! Baby loves meeting people. She goes up to everyone she meets hoping to get pets (or treats. Cheese is her favorite). When you come home from work. Baby likes to greet you at the door. She immediately solicits belly rubs and butt scratches. Some of Baby’s ‘dislikes’ are car rides (she gets anxiety), loud noises (mostly door buzzers), her nails getting clipped and most importantly when people stop petting her. Baby is about 10 years old, 90lb Boxer mix. Baby is looking for a family that can provide her with a calm, quiet environment for her beauty sleep yet active enough where she gets her daily walks/jogs. Baby is great with everyone. She is house trained. She isn’t destructive in the home when left alone. She whines for a little bit when people leave but she settles quickly. Baby previously lived with 2 cats. Her previous family moved away and left her in the apartment.

Story
Before her rescue, Ripley was a devoted mom to a litter of puppies. Now, it’s finally her turn to be pampered and spoiled. She loves people and greets everyone with tail wags and enthusiasm—sometimes a little too much excitement, but with some gentle reminders, she’s quick to learn. Ripley is a spirited, high-energy 3-year-old who’s ready to find a forever home that matches her zest for life! This athletic girl lives for movement—she loves to run, play, and will gleefully destroy any toy that crosses her path. She’s fantastic with other dogs and adores children, making her a great match for an active family with kids or playful pups. Ripley thrives in a home that’s always on the go—whether it’s hikes, runs, or backyard zoomies, she’s all in. A quiet, laid-back lifestyle just isn’t her thing; she’s looking for a household that’s as energetic as she is. Ripley is crate trained, housebroken, and knows basic commands like “sit.” She’s also super smart and very treat-motivated, so training is a breeze with the right snacks and consistency. Important note: Ripley cannot be in a home with cats or small animals. She has a strong prey drive and takes her “squirrel patrol” duties very seriously—your yard will be rodent-free! If your home is filled with energy, love, and adventure, Ripley just might be your perfect match. Ready to make her part of your pack? ##2223382##
