She is in training currently, to learn how to harness her boundless energy & gain some leash manners. She knows some basic commands & is working on “leave it”. Her foster mom has had nothing but wonderful things to say about her. She is crate trained and house broken. She would be your perfect adventure dog, as she likes going for a swim in the river. Jovie is a smart and observant girl who looks to her handler for reassurance when she encounters new things. With time, patience, and consistency, she blossoms and begins to trust. She enjoys playgroup at the shelter and loves being part of the fun. Jovie does best when she can be a bit “in charge” of the play, so a laid-back resident dog would be the best match.
