Rocky is a 2-and-a-half-year-old boxer mix who likes to ride in the car and is good on a leash. Rocky was released to us due to his owner's poor health. He knows basic commands and is housetrained and crate-trained. He will do best with female dogs. Kids should be at least 6 due to Rocky's size. We don't know how he'll behave with cats. Rocky has tested negative for heartworm, has been neutered, and is current on vaccinations. He currently weighs about 65 pounds. You will receive health records and a bag of Hill's Science Diet pet food upon adoption. Adoption donation $260. Dog was dropped off by former partner to roommate. Unfortunately roommate lost job and had to move out of area to a travel position. We cannot continue to keep dog due to pending relocation out of state for recent college grad. Dog about 4-5 years old. Crate trained. Leash trained. Has been taken to parks and on walks. Has not lived with other dogs, pets, or children. Larger size but more medium weight. Friendly and responds to most commands. Loves to play with toys. Needs yard or frequent walks but can be left alone during day.
