Story
Roxie was a rescue dog who had been with me for about 6 years. When it was just the two of us she was great, no problems, but since moving in to a full household with 2 young children and another dog, she has become very anxious and insecure. I am working 2 jobs now and don't have the time to spend with her. She was abused before I got her and still is very skittish. She gets along with females better than males as far as people. She's nipped at some men but had never bitten anyone. She leaves the babies alone. She really needs a calm, caring small home where she can have the attention that I can't give to her anymore. She is constantly hiding in the bathtub or under the bed or anywhere she can fit. She is afraid of everything. She loves to run and will bark at other dogs, but she isn't sure how to play with them. She's a sweet girl who needs a lot of attention and patience.

Story
Serena is a 7.5-month-old spayed female American Pitbull Terrier with a beautiful blue and white coat and the sweetest shy personality. This gentle girl can be a little timid at first, but once she gets outside and has a chance to relax, her playful and more lively side starts to shine through.Serena absolutely loves other dogs and would do best in a home with a confident canine companion to help her continue building confidence and learning that the world isn’t so scary. She enjoys affection and especially loves when you stop to give her hugs and reassurance. She is still learning how to walk on a leash and will need a patient family willing to help her gain confidence with basic training and new experiences. Because of her shy nature, Serena would do best in a home with older children who can respect her boundaries and help her feel safe and comfortable. With patience, love, and another dog friend by her side, Serena is sure to blossom into a loyal and loving companion.

Story
Noelle is a 3-year-old spayed female Pit Bull with a beautiful white-and-blue coat and a whole lot of love to give. This sweet girl enjoys getting out for walks and does well overall, though she can pull a bit when she gets excited—so a harness is her best walking buddy.Noelle already knows how to sit and is wonderfully polite when it comes to treats, taking them very gently. And speaking of treats… she’s definitely a foodie! Snacks are the fastest way to make her tail wag and her heart happy. When she’s outside, Noelle’s playful and goofy side really shines. She absolutely loves to roll around in the grass on her back, soaking up the sunshine and enjoying life. Toys are her favorite, and she doesn’t mess around—she’ll happily play hard and completely demolish her toys with pure joy! And if you’re planning a road trip, you’re in luck—Noelle is an angel in the car and rides like a pro.Noelle can be a little vocal in her kennel, which tells us she would thrive in a home with a fenced-in backyard where she can relax, stretch her legs, and enjoy some peaceful outdoor time. Once she’s out and about, her calm, affectionate personality truly shines. When it comes to other dogs, Noelle is dog selective. Slow introductions and a meet and greet are required to ensure a safe and comfortable match. With the right setup, she has so much love and loyalty to give.If you’re looking for a fun-loving, toy-destroying, grass-rolling, and affectionate companion who also happens to be a perfect car ride buddy, Noelle may be the perfect fit. Come meet her and see if she’s the missing piece to your family!

Story
Blair is a 7.5-month-old spayed female American Pitbull Terrier with a beautiful black and white coat and soulful eyes that will melt your heart. This sweet girl is very shy at first and takes a little time to feel comfortable around new people and situations, but once you bring out the beef jerky or chicken jerky treats, you’ll quickly start winning her over.Blair is dog-friendly and would do best in a home with another friendly, confident dog to help show her the ropes and bring her out of her shell. Having a canine companion around helps her feel safer and more comfortable as she learns to navigate the world around her. As always, meet and greets are required if there is another dog in the home to ensure it’s the perfect fit for everyone. She is still learning how to walk on a leash and will need a patient and understanding family willing to help her work through new experiences at her own pace. Because of her timid personality, Blair would do best in a home with older children who can provide the calm and gentle environment she needs to thrive. With love, patience, tasty treats, and a confident dog friend by her side, Blair has all the potential to blossom into an incredibly loyal and loving companion.
