Special Considerations: no other pets, available for permanent foster Meet Tesla! This snuggly girl was dumped by her breeder and has been with us her entire life! She is the most loving dog you will ever meet and quickly became a staff favorite. She has a neurologic disorder that causes fecal incontinence, but she’s very familiar with diapers and prefers to go outside. She loves chasing water from the hose and chewing her toys, but she really loves cuddling up on your lap. She doesn't like to share her people or things so she needs to be the only pet in the home, but she’s the best cuddler with her favorite people. If you’ve been looking for the most wonderful and wiggliest boxer, Tesla is your girl! Tesla is current on vaccines, spayed and microchipped.

Story
Adorable puppy Jason or JC was found cowering in the bushes in heavy thunderstorm, when he was spotted and rescued. Jase is now 15 weeks old, and a very calm puppy, who loves to be around his humans and wants nothing but affection. He is sweet, playful and good with dogs, cats, kids, people. He loves car rides. He is crate trained and housebroken. He is very easy to train, as he is extremely intelligent and loves to hear "good boy". In the right home, he will turn into a lovely adult pup. He lives with kids and brightens up when they come home from school. He is around 22 lb, current on his shots, already neutered and microchipped, and kept on heartworm and flea preventatives. Sweet Jase is being fostered in Texas, but can travel to any state, and even Canada for the right home. His adoption fee includes his transport fee. To meet this gorgeous pup via facetime or whatsapp or other video chat apps, please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com Yards, if any, MUST BE adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences.

Story
Meet Albie, a six-year-old Boxer/Husky mix with a heart full of love and a personality that's just as big! He's a quirky companion who loves to cuddle, making him the perfect buddy for movie nights and lazy Sundays. Albie enjoys the great outdoors and is always up for a hike, but he's also just as content spending his days lounging around the house, basking in the comfort of his family's company. With a keen mind, he loves to "have a job" to do, including learning new tricks. He is very well-behaved: listens very well, knows all basic commands, potty trained, crate trained, and loves showing off his tricks. While Albie is a bundle of joy and is a big teddy bear, he does have his unique needs. He prefers being the only pet in the household as he's uncomfortable around other dogs. He has made a lot of progress but will bark and lunge at dogs on walks if he gets within 10 feet of them. He has never bitten another dog, but is afraid of them. A home with a fenced yard would be his paradise

Story
Welcome Salem to CCPAL Rescue. Salem is a 4.5-year-old beauty. She is a Boxer/Staffordshire Terrier that weighs about 60 pounds. She is a beautiful grey and tan coat that is shiny and she is not too big of a shedding dog. She is loyal and does get along with dogs. Her preference is smaller male dogs or smaller submissive females. She was adopted as a puppy and returned at 4 years old because she didn’t get along with the other female dog in the home. She loves people and loves kids. She is potty trained, good on a leash and good in a car. She is very affectionate and slept with her family in the bed at night. She was really nice to all the people she met today at the rescue. She loved cuddles and being petted. We could adopt her locally with other dogs and we can test the dogs out. If she goes outside the state of Texas she would make a great only dog. She would be a great companion dog for someone wanting an outdoor companion on your activities and a dog willing to cuddle when you want to chill and read a book. She is the best of both worlds. She is house trained and goes potty outside. They have worked with trainers so she is skilled as far as training goes and was following direction nicely at the Rescue. She could be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get this gorgeous dog to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. She if fully vetted, healthy and ready for her forever home. She can go with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Google is your typical high energy boxer mix. He loves to walk and play in the yard. His ideal home would be with an active individual, couple, or family. He is very smart and loving. He is best in an only dog household. He is neutered, chipped, and fully vaccinated. Give Google a home and he can be transported to you. ##1549887##

Ziggy is an older distiguished gentledog. He loves to be a couch potato. He does love going for a walk. He is always happy to see people and give them his paw. He follows commands and is crate trained. His nickname is "Tiger" because of his coat. He is very loving to people and selective to other dogs. Proper introduction is always a must. He wouldn't be ideal with a house that has small children. He is always eager to please. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He would love to travel anywhere in the US or Canada. ##1545628##

The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Chase Quick Pay, PayPal, or cash. This is yet another extremely sad story for the sweet Mr Prince. Prince had 48 hours left to live otherwise he was going to lose his life in a very high kill shelter in CA. His owner had dropped the handsome Prince off at the shelter & he had been waiting for someone to come for him for well over a month, but no one did. He had his second upper respiratory infection in the shelter but as we quickly learned when we rescued him & rushed him to our vets he had pneumonia & we did not know if he was going to survive as he was so extremely ill. Our vets let us know if we did not rescue him he would of died from the pneumonia before he was put to sleep. We had our work cut out for us with Prince after rescuing him, he was extremely sick & stayed at our vets for several days on an iv, receiving meds, good nutrition & care. Once he was well enough off into his foster home he went, he followed his foster mum everywhere & became her shadow. We wanted to make sure Prince is good with men & we put him into a daycare with men to see how he was & he loves the men who look after him. Prince does well with some dogs but we recommend a home where he can be the only dog & get all the attention. He also does like to play & will play rough with the other dogs. Prince rides beautifully in the car & enjoys a good journey & he now loves to eat & walks good on a leash. We are looking for a forever home with Prince where someone is home during the day or he can go with his people wherever possible. Prince is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved. This boy has already been through so much & already been abandoned before. Prince has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & he is currently with other dogs here in WA & was in CA. Prince is roughly 5 years old & 64.2 lbs & is perhaps a American pit bull, male, neutered, took several months to get him healthy & to a healthy weight as he had severe pneumonia & we did not know if he would survive, had patchy hair loss & crusty patches on skin, he is microchipped, up to date on his shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, rabies & dewormed. We have spent far more on rescuing Prince, with all of his medical care, getting him well from severe pneumonia including x-rays, treatments & not knowing if he would survive the severity of the pneumonia he needed a lot of extra care. Along with vet bills in CA & WA, transport, boarding etc we have spent more on Prince’s care than his fee covers. Prince has been around cats since being in the rescue & he does like to chase the cats so a home with no cats is best for Prince, but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not had him around small children so we do not recommend small children & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children. We were not there when Prince was conceived so we do not know who his parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. As with all of our rescues & Prince’s friends he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training with more than 1 class. Please do not email us asking is Prince potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Prince has been through many traumas in his life so when applying this needs to be kept in mind & for his care. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Prince & going through our process and have read his listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit using Webex due to covid & followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Prince who understands his needs & that meet all the requirements for this beautiful boy. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Prince has an adoption fee of $500 & is ready for his truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what he has been through.

Soul destroying is the only way to look back & see Dovy in a kill shelter in CA in a picture of her posted on social media. This picture would make you cry because you could see from her body just how much she had been abused & used over & over & over again. This beautiful lady had an owner & was dumped at the shelter because they were finished using her. We could not bare to leave this beautiful girl there & as it was she desperately needed out as her time had run out at the kill shelter. No way were we going to let her stay in a death camp of a scary shelter in CA. That day was 1 very sad & joyous day all at the same time. We got Dovy out of the shelter & low & behold we found out when we went to spay her, she was pregnant. Dovy had her babies but unfortunately they all went to heaven, no surprises unfortunately because we knew she was not looked after, nor loved, nor cared for at all. This girl is so outstanding, she has endured so much & yet is still full of life, love & enthusiasm for joy. Our wonderful vet discovered a large mass & she needed her spleen removed, so we got her spleen removed. She originally was not impressed by other dogs probably because of all the times she was forced to have puppies but now this beautiful girl loves other dogs & is so forgiving of what humans did to her. Dovy who is now looking for her very own forever home who will never give up on her again & love her just as we all do. After we got Dovy out of the kill shelter she was brought back to WA state from CA where she can’t wait to find her devoted loving forever home. The picture of Dovy in the kill shelter it says just how sad she was & how she had been used over & over as a breeding machine to make money off her back. Her poor boobies at the time were touching the ground. She is unrecognizable to that picture to the little lady she is today. She was very thin, she needed to put on a lot of weight, which now she has. Her zest for life is like no other. She has endured so much with losing her babies & from needing her spleen removed. She just wants to be loved & she so loves you back. She looks as though she is smiling with glee when she gets her picture taken. Disturbing to think no one wanted her & she was ready to die. The level of absolute madness here is so deeply sad for many of these beautiful souls out of CA kill shelters. Dovy is a very soft gentle soul, she is so easy to love considering what he has endured. She loves everyone she meets & enjoys being cuddled to & given love. She will bowl you over with her enthusiasm for joy & her happiness. Sweet Dovy foes not have a mean bone in her beautiful body. That being said, Dovy is a good eater, she loves to eat & she is making up for lost time. Dovy’s new forever home must have a fully fenced secured backyard. Dovy has now been great with her baths because she started having them with us the moment she was rescued so she is used to them. We don’t know how many baths she previously had before coming to us, it appeared to be a shock to her system having a bath for the first time. Then the many times after as she needed medicated baths for skin infection. Dovy now rides beautifully in the car & enjoys a good journey & still needs continued work walking on her harness & leash. She is a big strong girl who gets very, very excited when on her harness leash. We are looking for a forever home for Dovy where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them & there must be another dog or dogs in the home for her to thrive. Dovy loves other dogs & needs another dog in the home to play with. This is mandatory for her new home. We are also looking for a crate free home for the little lady only. She was in the dreaded shelter until we rescued her. Dovy is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be patient with her. Dovy has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & she is currently with other dogs & does well with them & enjoys their company. It’s mandatory for her to be in a home with playful dogs. Dovy is roughly just a 5 years old & roughly 59 lbs & is perhaps a American pit bull, what she is mixed with we are not sure. She is female, spayed, came out of the shelter with a bad skin infection along with a ear infection that she came out of the shelter with. We treated her & got her better before she could go under anesthesia. Dovy had a dental, scale & polish & dental x-rays along with a incisor & premolar removed. Dovy had to have her spleen removed because it had a mass on it. Her spleen was sent away to be tested & it was a benign splenic mass, she is microchipped, heart worm negative, given flea treatment, up to date on her shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, rabies & dewormed. We have spent over $3000 on Dovy, getting her safe, well & healthy with all of her medical care & needs. Dovy has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together. We have not had her around small children so we do not recommend small children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children.
