Story
Hi, my name is Harper! I was born in December of 2023. I appear to be a boxer mix and weigh 50 pounds. I came into rescue after I was found wandering around a rural neighborhood. I am the sweetest girl and love everyone I meet. No warm up period needed. My people say I have a lot of personality and I am a total wiggle butt. I have never been cat tested so my people are going to say no to a home with furry felines. I do well with other dogs. I would love to be with an active family. I was made for hiking! I have never been around children so it might be a good idea if they were eight and up. I am a healthy pup and if you are looking for a new fur baby, I may be the one. I am up to date on vaccines, spayed and microchipped. I am house trained and walk well on a leash. I ride well in the car and love to be out and about. If you are interested in giving me a forever home please email adopt@thezoeygroup.com for application links and additional information.

Story
Welcome Honey to CCPAL foster Program. Honey is a 3 year old Boxer mixed dog. She is potty trained. We think Honey survived the flood in Kerrville. A good samaritan has taken her in and is giving her good nutrition and love until we find her forever home. She was really scratched up and had a wound on her front left leg. She will be spayed soon and she is going to the vet again for a follow up on her leg. Our guess is it may have gotten broken and healed back on it’s own due to what she has gone through. She is good on a leash, very loving and bonds deeply. She lives with 5 cats right now but she is much too interested and we feel her best home would be without cats. She loves all people and no one is a stranger. She is good with dogs her size and is an energetic girl. Her best home would be with an active and ourdoorsy family that wants a great companion to join them in their outdoor fun. She is looking wonderful and filling out nicely in her new foster home. She lost some muscle around her bum area due to the length of time she was without food. Despite this, she would make an amazing family pet. She would love to be the only dog and be the center of her families attention. She weighs about 40 pounds and is a taller dog but medium weight. She is great in a car and would make a great dog in settings where lots of people are around. She is lower in shedding. She will be getting spayed soon and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Meet Graham! We had the opportunity to rescue Graham when one of our great fosters heard about him, fell in love, and asked us for help. We're so glad we did! Poor Graham was living in the worst conditions and was in poor physical condition. He was starving, practically just skin and bones, and he tested positive for heart worms. Thankfully, through some TLC and vet care, he's much healthier and happier. Understandably, Graham is pretty shy and hesitant with new people. Once he gets to know you and feels comfortable in his surroundings, though, his personality starts to shine through. Graham has recently graduated the Ridge Dogs program at Coyote Ridge Correctional Facility, a training program for pups that also helps the incarcerated folks. The training helped him gain more confidence and more good-skills. We would love to see this gentle pup find a home with lots of love. Are you the one to help him on the next step in his journey? ******************************************************************** ADOPTION INFO Dog adoption fees include: - All Basic Dog Vaccinations - Rabies - Bordetella - Flea & Tick Treatment - Spay (Up to $400) - Neuter (Up to $300) - Microchip & Registration All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs and cats in our rescue. Story
Last October we brought Disco Snail home from the seattle animal shelter. We love him, but he is not getting along with our older male dog. He is fine with our 2 cats and our smaller female dog. He is very strong and sturdy and weighs about 55 lbs. He is not destructive and is potty and crate trained. He is very youthful and high energy. He is also very snuggly and affectionate. We have been working on his impulse control and leash skills and he has made lots of progress as far as his reactivity. We are happy to foster him until a suitable home is found.
