Story
Melina, (a Greek name meaning “Honey”) is an eight year old cat who lives life like an eight month old kitten! She has been an indoor-only cat since I adopted her from the SW Washington Humane Society in 2017, when she was around eight weeks old. Melina loves dry kibble, lounging in the sun, and making that clicking-cat sound at the birds that fly by our windows. Over the last few years our household has changed drastically. As much as it saddens me to write this, the inclusion of a growing family, along with the already time-demanding lives those in my household endure, have resulted in Melina not being attended to or cared for in the way this wonderful cat deserves. All animals deserve to be loved and well cared for. I am hoping that I can find the right person to rehome Melina so that she can continue to remain the kitten she is at heart for the many years she has left ahead of her.

Story
Bogey is the sweetest boy and loves to cuddle. He’s been raised around kids and dogs and will greet you at the door and do tricks for treats. His favorite thing to do is to watch birds if he had it his way, he’d cuddle 24/7.

Story
Rescued her with five kittens we found homes for the kittens but unable to find a home for her. She’s a sweetheart and I think she was someone’s pet before she got pregnant and they dumped her cause she’s a sweet cat and very well behaved for a “feral cat.” She needs a home with a family that will love her but I believe she needs to be an only cat. We are unable to keep her due to the fact that she doesn’t get along with our other cats. She’s had her first round of shots and she’s been fixed. I would love nothing more than to keep her but unfortunately we’re just unable to. She is very much a sweetheart, and she loves to play. If she can find a home with someone that will love her and be an only cat. She will be a very wonderful pet in my opinion.

Story
This adorable lil misfit made quite the journey to get here. He came from a friend in Idaho who rescued his mama from the streets. Thanks to her, this baby got a safe start. Up to date on: 30-day flea preventative. First dose of broad-spectrum dewormer. Will go home with second deworming dose , first Vaccination. DOB 4.19.26 Cricket is convinced the world revolves around him... and honestly, he's pretty convincing. This little guy comes equipped with oversized satellite ears (he can hear a treat bag open from three zip codes away) and the cutest little white socks that make it look like he got dressed up for the occasion. He's the first one to run over and greet you, demand pets, purr like crazy then suddenly blast off into zoomie mode like his tiny brain just yelled, "MUST. GO. NOW!" He'll sprint away, bounce off invisible walls, wrestle absolutely nothing, then casually stroll back over five seconds later like, "Anyway... where were we?" 🤷‍♂️ Cricket is spunky, confident and loving

Why should a queen have to walk across the room when her staff can do it for her? Once you've accepted your fate and sat down, she'll graciously reward your service by climbing into your lap for cuddles and endless purring.Don't let her dainty appearance fool you. Duchess keeps up with her three brothers just fine and is definitely the leader of the pack!
