😎🐶 ADOPT BANE 🐶😎 Are you looking for the best boy? You've found him! Bane is handsome, sweet, and fun. He loves EVERYONE, even kitties! Bane enjoys sleeping in his crate at night and is potty trained. He's not sure that baths are his favorite thing, but he's pretty sure all the hugs and scratches make it totally worth it. Bane is a perfect mix of active and snuggly. He loves running around and showing off his zoomies, but then he's ready to crash and cuddle. He prefers to take his meals laying down - really! He loves laying down to eat! Bane would love to find a family who will include him in all their fun. He doesn't need to be in charge, so he can be friends with a bossy pup. He's ready to meet you and fall in love! ADOPTION APPLICATION: www.tinyurl.com/IADRAdoptionApp ***IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ*** Our adoption fee is $175. We require an application to be completed prior to setting up a meet-and-greet. We do not offer "on-the-spot" adoptions. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We do our best to match dogs with families that will be a good fit to help ensure a successful adoption. We reserve the right to decline any application for any reason. Due to the nature of our adoption process, our fosters are usually only able to consider forever families within a reasonable driving distance of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. A vet reference is required, and a trial period will be completed before finalizing the adoption. Thank you for your understanding.

Story
Dahlia is a loving, loyal, and very goofy girl. She is always down to play with her favorite toys, a racquet ball or tennis ball, squeaky stuffed animals or a cardboard box, she just loves to play with you. She also loves to run so a yard is a must. At night after a long walk, she loves to cuddle on the couch and sleep until it’s time for bed. Dahlia was adopted July 2022 and was a little over a year old, so i think her birthday is about June 2021. She is anxious around other dogs so would need to be the only one in the house, but I think with time and training, it’s fixable. She was attacked so she is skeptical of unfamiliar dogs. She has never been around a cat so i’m not sure how she would react around them. As for children, smaller children make her nervous since they’re so close to her face and she can get a little over excited and jumpy so it’s best to have older kids in a house. Dahlia now knows sit, down, stay(sometimes), still learning “come” but she loves learning. If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt.  Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Dahlia is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.April 19, 2024, 9:21 pm

Story
Andi was rescued  from her birth home in Devine, TX. She is now July 2023) almost 6 months old. We believe she was born approximately January 4, 2023. Her mom was a remarkably smart, loyal and loving Red Heeler. We believe her dad is an Australian Shepherd. Andi was 3 months old when we brought her home. Andi is sweet and full of love! However she is a high-energy girl, and would benefit from someone willing to give her the exercise, activities, and playtimes she needs to keep her active mind and body from seeking her own games!  She adores playing fetch, loves rubber balls and 'critter skins”, and  is incredibly affectionate; she loves to cuddle next to us on the couch. Andi is GREAT with other dogs and people. She loves to play with our Chiweenie. She has not been around any small children yet, but I cannot imagine she would not be as wonderful. She is great on walks and sleeps like a baby in her crate. She is 99% house-broken and well crate trained. She will come to her new home with  her crate, bedding and food.
