🐾 Meet Dustin! 🐾 Dustin is a charming little Chihuahua with a big heart! He might be a bit nervous when meeting new people, but with a gentle approach and a little time, he blossoms into the sweetest snuggle bug. Once he feels comfortable, Dustin’s playful and loving personality truly shines! Dustin would do well being an only pup or another addition to a friendly pup at home. Dustin is looking for a patient, loving family who can help him feel safe and loved.

Story
Note:  When proof of Anastasia's dental is sent in, her adoption fee will be returned to the adopter Hello,  My name is Anastasia.  I am a chi/doxie/terrier mix born 10/7/2016- so 8.5 years old.  I am about 9 lbs, so I am fairly small. I am currently in the Seattle area, and by no fault of my own, I find myself in need of a home.  I was originally the runt of 9 puppies!  I guess I kinda learned to be bossy being the smallest one, and I still am that way with other dogs.  I really want a home where I am the only dog as I tend to get a bit impatient... ok rude with other dogs.  I do like cats though!  They don't bother me.  Despite my bossy streak, I am a really really cute and sweet girl.  I am still learning to walk on a leash, but am getting much better at it.  My rescue will give you my harness, leash, and collar if you adopt me, so I wont run away from you outside.  I love to sit and snuggle and participate in whatever activity you are doing.  I am calm overall and slightly silly.  I will need a bit of time to adjust- typically around 2 weeks to one month, once I get to know you I am super sweet and fun to be around!  The video of me shows my ever so slightly timid, yet still sweet nature with someone I just met right then.  I am not too food motivated, but I LOVE watermelon for the record.  It's a fun treat and if I even smell it I basically squeal from excitement.  My hair stays the length in the picture, so aside from occassional trims around my eyes, I am pretty low maintenance.  I am a doll for baths. I have gotten many and do very well with them. I am used to having potty pads around, so at 1st, I may go potty on rugs if I accidentally mistake them for a potty pad.  With a routine schedule I should be able to go mostly outside though if that is a requirement of yours.  I have never been around small children, so this is not advisable as a constant interaction.  Over time I may give calm little ones a chance, but I don't know about that yet. I am fully vetted aside from my dental.  I desperately need to have one.  I have quite a few teeth missing and would do best on soft food as well.  This  is why my rescue said they will give my adoption fee back to my adopter once my dental is done-to help pay towards it.  If anyone reads this and would like to donate towards my dental, I would greatly appreciate that.  Please reply to my profile if you'd like to do so. Also, although I am looking for my forever home, I am open to a foster as well.  Due to needing to be an only pup, I would benefit to have my own attention as soon as possible.   Forever family I know you are out there.  I have been up for adoption for a number of months and no one has even asked to meet me, which makes me very sad.  I know I am not a super young puppy, but hopefully I have quite a few years left to be with you.  Please forever family, I am ready to meet you and find my forever home!

Story
Meet Grace – A Quiet Soul Ready to Bloom Currently in Mexico – Can travel to WA with a committed trial family Apply to adopt: www.northwestwagrescue.org Adoption Fee: $600 Quick Facts: Name: Grace Age: 3 years Weight: 11.4 kg / 25.13 lbs Breed: Dachshund mix Spayed: Yes Vaccinated: Yes Heartworm Negative: Yes Behavior & Training: Good with dogs Good with kids (though we recommend a home without young children due to her sensitivity) Cat friendly – unknown, hasn’t lived with cats Walks well on leash and enjoys gentle outdoor adventures Fully potty trained Not yet crate trained, but adaptable and eager to learn Sleeps peacefully in a cozy dog bed alongside foster siblings Does well when left alone with other dogs for company Personality:Grace is a soft, soulful, and resilient pup who has blossomed from fear into affection. Once shut down from trauma, she’s now a calm, loving dog who delights in gentle companionship, peaceful walks, and the quiet presence of her trusted humans. She’s not a high-energy dog—Grace thrives in a calm, stable routine and prefers a home where things are low-key and comforting. She’s wonderful with other dogs and truly benefits from canine companionship—especially a confident dog who can help guide and reassure her. Grace may be shy at first, but once she trusts you, her loyalty and affection run deep. She’ll follow you quietly from room to room, curl up nearby, and look to you with eyes full of gratitude and warmth. Grace’s Ideal Home:Grace needs a peaceful, adult-only home or one with older, calm children who can respect her sensitive nature. She would do best with adopters who understand the power of patience and the beauty of slow, steady bonding. A home with another kind, well-adjusted dog would be ideal—she gains so much confidence from having a furry friend around. Her perfect family is one that believes in second chances and understands the joy of watching a once-frightened pup blossom into the loving dog she was always meant to be. Grace’s Story – From Fear to HopeGrace was one of 23 dogs rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding situation. Her former caretaker, a man once devoted to his dogs, fell into deep depression and addiction. As his life unraveled, so did the care of the animals depending on him. Eventually, his family intervened—reaching out in a final attempt to save the dogs who had been left behind in increasingly dire conditions. Grace was among the smallest and most overlooked. Malnourished, frightened, and likely pushed aside by larger dogs, she had known only neglect and survival. When rescuers arrived, her eyes were filled with fear and uncertainty. But her story didn’t end there. She was taken into loving foster care, and with the help of an ethologist, began the slow journey toward healing. Day by day, she regained trust. Her tail began to wag. Her eyes softened. Her spirit, once dimmed, began to shine again. Grace is Ready for Her New BeginningGrace is a survivor—gentle, loyal, and quietly brave. She’s looking for a forever home filled with love, patience, and peaceful companionship. She doesn’t need much—just a calm routine, a cozy spot to rest, and a heart that’s open to letting her in. Will you be the one to offer Grace the safe, loving home she’s waited so long for? Grace is in Mexico and ready to travel with a committed trial family.
