Story
Itsy, Boo, Jelly Bean, Bonbon, Love Bug, Poky, Buggy, Herbie & Royce, innocent and helpless, found themselves abandoned and alone at the local shelter when our rescue team saw their post for help.  Too young to even feed themselves, they relied on the nurturing care of our dedicated bottle feeder foster mom to survive and thrive. These precious little souls slowly grew stronger and more adorable, capturing the hearts of everyone around them. And now, after receiving the love and care they so desperately needed, these sweet companions are finally ready for their forever homes. Our team at Spring Branch Rescue is thrilled to announce that they are now available for adoption to loving families who will continue to provide them with the care and attention they deserve. For those interested in welcoming one of these furry friends into their homes, we are pleased to offer transportation services from Houston to the Pacific Northwest and East Coast every month. And for our Canadian friends, we have a special stop in Bellingham, WA, where you can pick up your new companion. If we are in Houston, then how can you see our posts?   Spring Branch Rescue has fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Yes, our rescue is in Houston.  Our available animals live with foster families.  This is a win for you as the transition from our home to yours will be a much easier one.  We do have foster homes in your area.  This is why you are able to see our posts.  Unfortunately Meet & Greets have been cancelled due to Covid Restrictions.  Almost all our animals traveling have been adopted.  We have been doing this since 2019 and have been very successful.  Please look at our adopter’s reviews https://greatnonprofits.org/org/spring-branch-rescue.   Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future from a city that has an animal crisis.  We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets.  So many have been dumped and cannot find their way home.  Many never even had a home and were born on the streets.  WE gave them a chance.  Every animal deserves a chance. To learn more about the adoption process and fees, we invite you to visit our website at www.springbranchrescue.org. We are confident that these little ones will bring endless joy and love to their new families, and we cannot wait to see them find their happily ever after. Adopt, don't shop, and change your life today. ##1987993##

Story
This sweet, gentle, loving senior needs a forever home!! His human Dad passed away and Charlie has nowhere to go. We can change that only IF you open your heart and home. What we know about Charlie: 10-12 years old 22 pounds (overweight) Walks great on leash Friendly, shy Gets along with dogs (with proper introductions) Chases cats Kids 12+ older Potty training is a work in progress Talker Male / female home Charlie lived most of his life indoors, fed people food, led an inactive/isolated lifestyle and had not seen a vet in many years. Charlie's wellness exam, senior blood panel and urinalysis were positive with no concerns and will need a dental within the year. We would LOVE to change all of this so while he's being temporarily cared for, we have instructed the guardians to begin his weight loss with a healthy diet and incorporate daily gentle walks. Charlie is eating a high quality diet with added senior supplements. The home and lifestyle we are striving for is as follows: - Retired, work from home - Active walkers, quiet lifestyle, adventures outside of the home - Single family residence with secure fenced yard - Rural setting (he is not a city boy) - Another small dog similar in age/energy and activity level - No cats - Experience and breed specific knowledge. - Follows positive force free training guidelines Locations we adopt: Washington State, Oregon, British Columbia Please connect with us via email: hearts4doxies

Story
Meet Victor💜 She was found tied with a tight collar in a pebble field. Upon rescue, she appeared frightened, surrounded by accumulated food, but quickly warmed up, showing signs of relief and wagging her tail. * Separation Anxiety: Still quite anxious when left alone for extended periods, resulting in whining and occasionally tearing wallpaper or mats 😭 * Housebroken: Prefers outdoor potty. * She hasn't met other dogs many times so she's a little shy. With calm friends, she slowly greets by sniffing, but for those who approach aggressively, she expresses with a growl. * Absolutely loves people! During greetings, she lies down and eagerly leans on people, seeking cuddles all over 🥰 * Extensively affectionate towards strangers outdoors, but indoors with unfamiliar faces, she's initially a bit apprehensive. Once familiar, she becomes an adorable sweetheart! * Initially pulls on the leash during walks but gradually syncs pace. Tends to chase after cats, so caution is necessary. * Rarely barks! When unfamiliar people enter the house, she quietly 'woofs' (who's there!) without continuous barking. * Has no issues with car rides! 😊 * Enjoys baths! 🫧 Loves it when thoroughly scrubbed during shampooing. * Loves eating, making training possible with kibble! * Feels a bit apprehensive during ear cleaning/nail trimming. * Sheds only during shedding seasons. * Special Skills: Mastered 'Paw, Sit, Lie Down, Wait, House, Cool, Kiss, Nose' – a true pro in commands! 😎 * Favorites: Familiar people, head pats, fruits, running, cuddling 💙 Foster's Instagram: @imbo_victor_
