Today, he is healthy, trusting, and patiently waiting for the forever home he so deeply deserves. Caramelo is proof that even after hardship, a heart can remain soft. Story
Dudley is an energetic, dachshund mix who’s ready for a fresh start. Despite a tough beginning—he was unhoused and living in a car—this little guy hasn’t lost his zest for life. Dudley can be unsure of new people and will need time and patience to build trust. Once he feels safe, his loyal and loving nature shines through. He’s also quite vocal, so he may not be the best fit for apartment living. This brave boy has already shown how resilient he is. Now he’s ready for the next chapter—a stable, caring home where he can finally feel secure and loved. Could you be the one to give Dudley the happily ever after he deserves? Our adoption process and application can be found at - https://www.sunnyskysshelter.org/our-adoption-process Note: Breed descriptions are provided as a general estimate based on the dog's size, shape, and appearance. These descriptions are not definitive and should be considered a "guestimate." Since we cannot always know the exact breed mix of our rescue animals, the information provided is simply an educated guess. ✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Rumi🧡 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1⃣ Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped, and heartworm negative. * Recently received treatment for pancreatitis. Should avoid being fed fatty foods. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Rumi had stayed at the Gimje City Shelter for over two years after giving birth to puppies, living in a cramped space. Afterwards, she was placed on the euthanasia list, so Adogs quickly rescued her. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Is scared and fearful of people. Still tends to get scared even with familiar people, but wags her tail and gets excited when she sees the person who takes her for walks. * With Dogs: Gets along with other dogs at our center with no issues. * Separation Anxiety: Unclear since she’s living communally at our center. * Potty Training: Not confirmed as she resides communally at our center. Is currently going potty outdoors at our center. * Walks: Is a well-behaved walker who enjoys being outside and does not pull on the leash. May initially feel a bit intimidated and sit down after a few steps to scan the surroundings. Once adjusted to the environment, she walks forward confidently. * Car Sickness: Had no problems and rested during short car rides. * Biting: May growl at times, but calmly accepts being touched. While the growling is a sign of being fearful of people, she has never shown any aggressive behavior, such as nipping or putting teeth on skin. * Bark: Is still afraid of people and growls out of fear when making eye contact with them. * Like: Likes going for walks.

Story
General about info for the dogs currently listed in this group: Permanent, Loving Homes Needed for Senior Rescue Dogs Over many years, I have monitored and tried to help this particular group of dogs. These dogs have been loved, responsibly vetted, and cared for throughout their lives, though not in an ideal overall situation. They were in a somewhat hoarding situation… not the typical not cared for at all one, but still applies. They were kept clean and fed and I paid for most of their vet care along the way, but their owner would not surrender them until now. Due to this: Adoption fees are all $300, but will be returned once proof of dental is given. I am finally allowed to find them homes, and cannot provide the level of long-term veterinary care these dogs deserve — including dental work, senior monitoring, and ongoing medical needs, thus, I am seeking permanent, stable homes where their remaining years can be lived with comfort, dignity, and consistency. What I am looking for • A calm, stable home • Someone experienced with senior dogs • Financial ability to provide ongoing veterinary and dental care • A commitment to keep them for life — no rehoming • Patience, kindness, and realistic expectations These dogs are older (aged 8 to 12 years old), and while many are still active, affectionate, and content, they will require the kind of care someone prepared for senior dogs can provide. What I will provide Full transparency about age, temperament, and medical needs Important medical history is known I do not have every vaccine record/etc but they are all spayed/ neutered, microchipped, and current on rabies vaccines Time for proper introductions Careful, thoughtful placement — this will not be rushed I am open to placing individual dogs or compatible pairs, and I will work closely with the right people to ensure a good match. If you are genuinely experienced with senior dogs and are prepared — financially and emotionally— to care for one for the rest of their life, please reach out by private message and tell me about yourself, your home, and your experience. These dogs deserve peace, safety, and love for the remainder of their lives. Thank you for reading with compassion. Hello, My name is Aurora. I am about 9 years old, and was born 10/7/2017. I am fully vetted, and in great health. First of all, please know I am WAY cuter than my pictures do justice. I am a little wiggle butt, and my foster parents have had trouble getting a good picture of me. Also, the white on my face makes me look way older than I act. It has progressed since I was a baby, but I really dont act like an old lady! My only issue is that I am desperate need of a dental cleaning. My teeth are better than my sister from the same litter, who just found a home, but she had to have almost all of her teeth removed. I will most likely need at least a good portion of mine removed as well. The good news is that my shining personality will make up for this slight issue. I am beyond happy to do whatever you do, as long as you give me a chance to get to know you. My dog mommy, whom I was around for the 1st year of my life, and thus learned a lot from her, was super nervous natured. I am not like her often, except at first in new situations. I will need probably about 2 weeks to settle in before you try to take me on walks outside or anything similar. I do use potty pads very well, though so that makes this transition time easier. I am silly with a lot of energy. I do like food, but not super food obsessed. I love cats and other small dogs. I will NOT do well around children unless they are older and super patient and super calm with me. I am FULLY vetted: fixed, 3 year rabies, DDAVP, microchip, heartworm tested negative multiple times, including recently, and current on heartworm and flea preventative. My stuff comes with me (crate, bed, toys, hw flea prev for 3-6 months depending on where I am in between vet visits). Still needed: dental, and lepto if you plan on taking me outside in any possible standing water your yard or other places. This wasnt a thing in Houston, but apparently is here.

Story
Welcome Mutz to CCPAL Rescue. Mutz is a 3-year-old Daug (Dachshund /Pug). He weighs about 12 pounds and is full grown and a nice weight. This dog came from the hoarder or overabundance of dog situation. He has an adorable underbit and has really blossomed at the Rescue. He is a quieter dog and has learned to like to be held. He is definitely a lap companion. He is playful with other dogs and has the sturdy body of the Pug. He would love to be a companion for a person that is retired, partially retired or maybe someone with a household that wants a dog with a lower energy to join in. He would be ok with a smaller condo size yard. He is learning leash manners and getting used to commotion of the Rescue. He hasn’t experienced a lot of different things so he isn’t sure yet but he is really really nice. He is not a big shedding dog. He is fine with nail trims and baths and will make some lucky family a great companion. I would say anyone moderately active would be fine for this dog. He bonds deeply and he warms up with affection nicely. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is getting vaccinations, neutered and he will be ready for his forever home soon. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Meet Pickle Wiggle, a 6-month-old, 18-pound mixed-breed sweetheart with a beautiful red coat accented by touches of white. This gentle girl can be a little shy at first, taking her time to soak in new surroundings and people, but once she feels safe, her soft and loving personality really shines. She may not be the first to grab a toy in the shelter environment, but that’s likely because everything is still new and overwhelming — deep down, she’s just a tender pup waiting to blossom.Pickle Wiggle would thrive in a patient, kind home that can help build her confidence at her own pace. With encouragement, positive experiences, and a steady routine, she’s sure to come out of her shell and show her playful side. If you’re looking for a sweet, sensitive companion who will reward your love with quiet devotion (and maybe a few shy tail wags), Pickle Wiggle might be your perfect match. The dog adoption fee is $110. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DAPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas. Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online. If you`d like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510.
