Meet Shadowfax! This distinguished gentleman is good with chickens, cats, and dogs that aren't pushy. Shadowfax is laid back and he's about 11 years old and weighs 14 pounds. He's really sweet with people, though a little shy at first, he does warm up quickly. Ricky and Ronnie are both sweet, dog friendly, and have not been vocal in foster care. They enjoy snuggling up on the sofa for affection, and appear to be house and crate trained. HE WAS FOUND WITH TWO PUPPIES UNDER A HIGHWAY BRIDGE. UNFORTUNATELY, ONE OF THEM TESTED POSITIVE FOR DISTEMPER AND, BECAUSE THE DISEASE WAS ALREADY VERY ADVANCED, HE DIED A FEW DAYS AFTER STARTING HIS TREATMENT. ELMER AND THE OTHER PUPPY, TITAN, WERE PLACED IN QUARANTINE AS A PREVENTIVE MEASURE. HOWEVER, ONE DAY AFTER THE END OF QUARANTINE, TITAN SHOWED DISTEMPOR SYMPTOMS AND, LIKE THE FIRST PUPPY, DIED DESPITE RECEIVING TREATMENT. THIS WAS HOW ELMER BECAME THE ONLY SURVIVOR OF THIS RESCUE. TODAY ELMER IS COMPLETELY HEALTHY AND WITHOUT ANY KIND OF SEQUEL AND IS LOOKING FOR A LOVING FAMILY THAT WILL CONSENT HIM. ELMER IS A FAITHFUL COMPANION WHO LOVES TO BE HUGGED AND Cuddled. HE WILL LOVE TO TAKE WALKS AND WALKS WITH YOU. IT IS PLAYFUL AND FRIENDLY, WHICH MAKES IT IDEAL TO BE WITH CHILDREN AND LITTLE ONES. HE LIKES TO EXPLORE, DISCOVER NEW THINGS, MEET PEOPLE AND ABOVE ALL PLAY. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Cashew is a lovely, 3-year-old Chihuahua/Dachshund mix who is ready to brighten up your home with his gentle presence. Cashew is a bit cautious at first with new people, especially men, but warms up beautifully. He walks well on a leash and is fully house trained. He is mostly quiet! He’ll let you know if someone is at the door, but he does NOT bark excessively which is a rare gift in a small dog like this. Cashew is social with other dogs and would like to have friends or a small housemate he could play chase with. And OH, what a snuggle-bunny! He thoroughly enjoys belly rubs, being sung to, and generally being with his people. Cashew was surrendered by his previous owner along with 5 other small dogs. He would be an excellent addition to your loving home.
