Meet Victor💜 She was found tied with a tight collar in a pebble field. Upon rescue, she appeared frightened, surrounded by accumulated food, but quickly warmed up, showing signs of relief and wagging her tail. * Separation Anxiety: Still quite anxious when left alone for extended periods, resulting in whining and occasionally tearing wallpaper or mats 😭 * Housebroken: Prefers outdoor potty. * She hasn't met other dogs many times so she's a little shy. With calm friends, she slowly greets by sniffing, but for those who approach aggressively, she expresses with a growl. * Absolutely loves people! During greetings, she lies down and eagerly leans on people, seeking cuddles all over 🥰 * Extensively affectionate towards strangers outdoors, but indoors with unfamiliar faces, she's initially a bit apprehensive. Once familiar, she becomes an adorable sweetheart! * Initially pulls on the leash during walks but gradually syncs pace. Tends to chase after cats, so caution is necessary. * Rarely barks! When unfamiliar people enter the house, she quietly 'woofs' (who's there!) without continuous barking. * Has no issues with car rides! 😊 * Enjoys baths! 🫧 Loves it when thoroughly scrubbed during shampooing. * Loves eating, making training possible with kibble! * Feels a bit apprehensive during ear cleaning/nail trimming. * Sheds only during shedding seasons. * Special Skills: Mastered 'Paw, Sit, Lie Down, Wait, House, Cool, Kiss, Nose' – a true pro in commands! 😎 * Favorites: Familiar people, head pats, fruits, running, cuddling 💙 Foster's Instagram: @imbo_victor_

Welcome Daisey to CCPAL foster program. She is an 8-year-old Dachshund/Corgi is our best guess. She has a longer body and upright ears. She is a scenting breed for sure. She is active and social and not the couch potato dog. She weighs 25 pounds. She is good with a dog smaller and a dog larger. The larger dog is a pit Bull and she does good with that more dominant dog as well. She is around children and is a great dog for a family with kiddos. She has a 5 year old and a baby in her home. This family has found they have to move into a rental house. The rental house will only allow 2 dogs. They are sad but there is no other option. Pit Bulls are tougher to rehome so she is rehoming her favorite dog. She was crying telling this story. Daisey is potty trained, good on a leash, good in a car, good with other dogs, kids and strangers. She will need a fenced yard or walked on a leash. She can catch a scent and wonder off. She has a nice sturdy body and will make a great companion for an active family or active senior. She can be an only dog or go with another dog. This dog has a lot of good years in front of her and is by no means an old acting dog. She is in good health, vaccinated, spayed and ready for her forever home. She is a shedding dog but only moderately. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to help get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Welcome Romeo to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 1.5-year-old Dachshund mix pup. He is Chocolate and tan and weighs about 12 pounds. He is getting neutered next week. He lives in a home with a number of other dogs and does great. He lives with an older woman and he is very loyal to her. We are working with him on a harness and leash. He doesn’t know how to walk on them at this time. He needs to find his forever home. The person he lived with since he was a puppy has had a change in her living conditions and the neighbor has mentioned harming the dogs. When she told us this, CCPAL stepped up for 3 of the dogs. They are all under-socialized but we will work hard to get them used to new things, leash walking, crate training and more. They are a wonderful breed and if you love this breed you will like any one of these pups. These dogs would make great companion dogs and love to be at home with their person. They would already be wonderful for someone who loves the breed and maybe is a person that wants a companion but doesn’t need them to be a dog you can take everywhere. These dogs would be ok around children. We like them to be 10 or older with the smaller dogs. Hello there, human friends! My name is Sangwoo, and I’m a 6-year-old male Dachshund with a sleek black coat. I’m a petite guy, weighing in at 10 kg, but what I lack in size, I make up for in heart! I’ve had quite the journey, being rescued from a kill shelter just in the nick of time. It’s been tough, but I’ve never lost my love for people. I’m the kind of pup who will greet you with a wagging tail and a nuzzle, and I’m not shy about showing my belly for some good ol’ belly rubs, even if we’ve just met! I’m a social butterfly with humans, but when it comes to other dogs, I’m more of a polite acquaintance. Cats? They’re fine, but I’m much more interested in my human companions. I love a good outdoor adventure, but afterwards, I’m all about relaxing and recharging. I’m learning not to pull on the leash during walks, and I’m a quick study, especially when treats are involved. Speaking of treats, I’ve had some dental work done, so soft snacks are the way to my heart. I don’t guard my food, and I’m well-behaved in a kennel. I’m also house-trained and can use indoor pads or go outside. I may have had a rough start, but I’ve got lots of love to give.
