Note:  When proof of Anastasia's dental is sent in, her adoption fee will be returned to the adopter Hello,  My name is Anastasia.  I am a chi/doxie/terrier mix born 10/7/2016- so 8.5 years old.  I am about 9 lbs, so I am fairly small. I am currently in the Seattle area, and by no fault of my own, I find myself in need of a home.  I was originally the runt of 9 puppies!  I guess I kinda learned to be bossy being the smallest one, and I still am that way with other dogs.  I really want a home where I am the only dog as I tend to get a bit impatient... ok rude with other dogs.  I do like cats though!  They don't bother me.  Despite my bossy streak, I am a really really cute and sweet girl.  I am still learning to walk on a leash, but am getting much better at it.  My rescue will give you my harness, leash, and collar if you adopt me, so I wont run away from you outside.  I love to sit and snuggle and participate in whatever activity you are doing.  I am calm overall and slightly silly.  I will need a bit of time to adjust- typically around 2 weeks to one month, once I get to know you I am super sweet and fun to be around!  The video of me shows my ever so slightly timid, yet still sweet nature with someone I just met right then.  I am not too food motivated, but I LOVE watermelon for the record.  It's a fun treat and if I even smell it I basically squeal from excitement.  My hair stays the length in the picture, so aside from occassional trims around my eyes, I am pretty low maintenance.  I am a doll for baths. I have gotten many and do very well with them. I am used to having potty pads around, so at 1st, I may go potty on rugs if I accidentally mistake them for a potty pad.  With a routine schedule I should be able to go mostly outside though if that is a requirement of yours.  I have never been around small children, so this is not advisable as a constant interaction.  Over time I may give calm little ones a chance, but I don't know about that yet. I am fully vetted aside from my dental.  I desperately need to have one.  I have quite a few teeth missing and would do best on soft food as well.  This  is why my rescue said they will give my adoption fee back to my adopter once my dental is done-to help pay towards it.  If anyone reads this and would like to donate towards my dental, I would greatly appreciate that.  Please reply to my profile if you'd like to do so. Also, although I am looking for my forever home, I am open to a foster as well.  Due to needing to be an only pup, I would benefit to have my own attention as soon as possible.   Forever family I know you are out there.  I have been up for adoption for a number of months and no one has even asked to meet me, which makes me very sad.  I know I am not a super young puppy, but hopefully I have quite a few years left to be with you.  Please forever family, I am ready to meet you and find my forever home!

Story
Riley is a sweet girl! She is a 10 year old, 20 pound chihuahua mix. She came to Charming Pet Rescue after her human passed away. She arrived at the rescue with her two sisters, one brother and two cats. After losing her human, Riley is still getting used to her new environment. Riley is just now allowing for you to pet her. Riley will need time for you to gain her trust but she is making progress every day. Riley enjoys naps on the couch and rolling around outside in the grass. She is working on losing a few pounds. While her foster sisters and brother run around, she enjoys walking a few laps in the backyard following her foster mom.Riley is house trained and sleeps in her crate. She gets along well with the three dogs in the foster home. She recently received dental work and is fully vetted.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
Spike is simply the bestest boy! Spike is not only absolutely adorable, but so friendly and outgoing. He will be the first to run up and show his belly for tummy rubs. Spike is a great size for any living situation, and sturdy enough for long walks around town. Seriously, the sweetest dog! Spike is a wire hair doxy mix and came into the rescue with his furry family when his owner passed away. Spike now needs a new person - or persons - to love. Spike likes all kinds of play and will do well as an only or with other furry siblings, he lived in a home with 9 other dogs, so he knows how to get along with the crowd. Spike is working on dropping some weight and is down over 3# already with a healthy diet and loving care of his fosters! Already close to his goal weight, playtime and exercise in his new home will make sure Spike is healthy for many years to come! Spike is neutered and current on vaccinations as a part of his adoption donation!

Story
ChuyAnimal Profile: Chewy is an estimated 12-18 month old, ~15-20lb chihuahua/dachshund mix (best guess) who was found as a stray in San Bernardino and completed his stray hold with our rescue partner ARF. He has been assessed to be friendly and social with people and dogs. He loves to run and play with people and is absolutely adorable; we are smitten! We will share more information as we get to know him in foster care.  Foster Updates: Meet Chewy! He is your perfectly sized friend, just under 20lbs and ready for all your cuddles and adventures! Chewy was pretty nervous when he first arrived with us, and needed a few days to acclimate and realize he was in safe hands. After a few days of decompressing, he was ready to show off his cuddly side and love for cozy dog beds. Chewy is a great companion in his foster home. He bonds quick with his people and loves to hangout by your side and accompany you on house tasks or keeping you company if you work from home. He is still a bit nervous in the outside world and can be intimidated by other dogs or new people. He does best with a slow introduction when meeting someone new, and he is curious about other dogs but does best with a confident handler on the other end of the leash. Chewy is learning some great leash manners in his foster home and getting more comfortable day by day. Chewy would do best in an adult-only forever  home. He wouldn't mind being a solo dog, but would also benefit from another calm, confident dog in his pack.  Adoption Information: Adoption fee is $550 which includes neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, recent vet visit and microchip with lifetime registration. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: Ruffles was a stray intake in San Bernradino, rescued in collaboration with our rescue partner ARF, and arriving to Seattle area foster care on 3/2/25. He will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.April 3, 2025, 6:52 pm

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Griffin! He is a 2-year-old, 15 LB Long-Haired Dachshund/Pug mix who is looking for his forever home! Griffin is a very sweet and loving little dog! He loves being carried around and close to his people as he bonds deeply to his person and will make a very loyal and loving companion to whoever adopts him! Griffin has done well with other dogs in our care and would love having another dog in the home as a playmate. He is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.
