Story
Freddy is approx. 2 years old, male, Black Mouth Cur/Anatolian mix. He’s fully vetted, Neutered, on heart worm prevention and micro chipped. He’s looking for his forever home and boy does he deserve it. He’s been boarding at a local facility most of his little life and is ready to spread his wings. Freddy is a very energetic and playful pup. His favorite is fetch. He would be a great companion for someone who likes to take long walks, hikes…somebody with his high level of energy! Please consider giving this young man a home. Probably best if no small children in the household as he is a little rambunctious. Since he is so athletic, he could jump a standard chain link fence or a low standing fence so a privacy fence would be ideal for him or someone committed to leash walking/hiking on the daily. He has had a week of in home one on one training and would love to find someone that could reinforce that. Please apply online for him at madisonarf.org

Oreo is a happy, super playful, sweet little girl. She is always wagging her tail and ready to play with any person or dog that comes around. She just turned one year-old in April. She is completely healthy and up to date on all of her shots and is spayed. She is super smart and loving. She is the perfect addition to your family if you want a dog you can play with and go on walks with and love you unconditionally. We adopted Oreo from A New Leash On Life back in October. She has been a wonderful addition to our family. Unfortunately, we are moving overseas and must rehome her before we leave.

Story
She was recently cat tested and couldn't have cared less...Prissy Missy was found in a parking lot, dumped by a cruel someone, so she didn't have the best beginning at life, as a lot of them and we certainly want to change that for all of our babies! We want to make them forget their past and have the best future and forever after. She is a little timid with new people but warms up quickly, does not like small children in her face, so she would do best with older children who have learned how to act around dogs since littles are still learning. She does love to play but she also gives the best hugs in all the world and loves to snuggle in your lap and would love to watch TV with you on the sofa. You have to make sure that she doesn't pee in the floor when she doesn't get enough attention!Apply online to Foster or adopt We furnish everything for Foster homes. Adoption fee has been sponsored. MadisonARF.org is where you will find the application for both.

Story
The owners were older and couldn't handle her energy level, though, truth be told, they didn't really try everything like a trainer, etc, they just gave up and turned her over to a kill shelter. She's high energy, needs training and room to run that energy off, with some playmates to wear each other out. Even some older kids to run around with. Do you go running or hiking? Then this girl is your kind of buddy! She's also one big LOVE BUG. She wants all the pets, please and thank you. She can even out run mini Aussies at the Foster Home, which is usually unheard of there! But they're all having a blast running around, playing and wearing each other out. She's doesn't bother the barn cats on the farm. She's house trained, too, and does very well in the house. She needs a yard with a fence to run in. And a friend to play with. She's very well mannered if you are the Alpha. She's playful, fun, and loveable to the MAX.NOT AN APARTMENT DOG.She's been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative and on all preventions, as all of our dogs are, so she's ready and eager to go! Apply for this 1 year old beautiful girl online atMadisonarf.orgHer adoption fee is $200

Story
Super sweet dog, he is a large Great Dane/Pitbull mix. He is one years old and only rehoming because we are having a new baby and he is occasionally too rough when playing with smaller dog. Neighbor tore down back fence so he is either on chain outside or crate. We want what is best for him and he needs a family with more space and time.
