Story
We adopted Riley from the Sonoma Humane Society. He has been the best adventure pup and has accompanied us on many hikes, camping, trail runs, boating, paddle boarding etc. He is a great loyal protector and just wants to be with you by your side with whatever you are doing. We love him dearly this is why we are needing to rehome him for his safety and well being. We just had a baby and live near the highway. Sadly Riley has not been adjusting well to our new little one and has been escaping the property and with being so Close to the highway We are just terrified he will get hurt. We have tried everything to keep him safe but he is clearly unhappy and needing more of 1:1 time we can’t provide. He is chill and independent and his favorite is simply just to bask in the sun

Story
I recently adopted this sweet, gentle boy from an overcrowded shelter. I really feel like he is one of the most special dogs I have ever interacted with. He absolutely loves playing with other dogs and has gained a lot of confidence from playing with one of my friends pups. He is a bit on the shy side, but warms up to people quickly and has loved everyone who has met him. He sleeps in his crate at night, and I keep him in a smaller room with his crate open during the day and he does great. He is highly food motivated and has been easy to train so far. Since I just recently got him I’ve mostly been letting him decompress. However, the few things I’ve taught him he has picked up incredibly quick. He loves hanging with me outside and I think he would be a great working dog or family dog. We have cats, goats, sheep, and horses on our property and he’s done great around all of them. Looking to rehome him to a kind, gentle family that will take him on lots of adventures.
