Story
Meet me at the mobile adoption event on Saturday, February 28th at Woodlands Pet Food & Treats Novato from 12-3pm (unless adopted before 3pm). An onsite sign-in sheet will open one hour before the event.Chives is a tiny, adorable chihuahua mix. He can be shy at first with new folks and new dogs, but as we have exposed him to more friendly two-legged and four-legged friends he has gotten much more outgoing and warms up very quickly. He absolutely loves his people though, and his favorite thing is a warm lap for snuggling. He is a playful, curious, social little guy. Chives is working on his house training and prefers to use a pee pad or a rug/towel so training should go quickly. He's a good eater, but faster than his sister so we have to keep them separated to make sure he shares. He's very food motivated which is great for training. Because he is so tiny I don't think a home with young children would work unless they are VERY gentle. I also think a very chaotic home might be too much for this little guy. Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: Black Weight: 5 Age: 0yrs 0mths 12wks

Story
Luna came to us from a very overcrowded shelter. We sent her to foster to get bigger and for socializing. Here's what the foster family told us about her: Luna is a sweet, loyal little adventurer with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She is the definition of affectionate. She loves being close to her people, soaking up attention and giving plenty of puppy snuggles in return. Once she bonds with you, she's all yours - your shadow, your cuddle buddy and your most devoted companion. she was good with our children aged 15,13 and 10.But don't let that sweetness fool you. Luna has a curious streak! She's a talented little escape artist who loves to explore (especially the backyard). She'll happily patrol the perimeter, investigate every leaf and turn outdoor time into her own grand adventure. A secure yard and watchful eye will be important for this clever girl. Like most puppies, Luna is also in her "everything is a chew toy" phase. Shoes? Interesting. Rugs? Fascinating. Toys? Her favorite! With guidance, patience, and plenty of appropriate chew options, she'll learn what belongs to her and what doesn't. Luna will thrive in a home that can give her structure, enrichment and lots of love. With consistent training and supervision, she'll grow into an incredible lifelong companion. If you're ready for backyard adventures, couch cuddles and a loyal best friend who will keep life interesting, Luna is ready to meet you.She sounds perfect to us!
