Story
Bronx was adopted from the Humane Society of Silicon Valley (HSSV) on April 23, 2023. He was 11 weeks old and weighed 9.20 lbs. and presumed to be a Border Collie Mix but staff was unsure what he was mixed with. Since his adoption he has completed the required Puppy Training course provided by HSSV while also receiving continued training by his family. Bronx is potty trained, knows the basic commands (sit, stay, leave it, etc..) but could benefit from more extensive and regular training and strong leadership from pack leader or family. Bronx loves to run, fetch and socialize with other dogs and people. He has been trained to be both on and off leash and responds to commands when off leash; but keep in mind he's still a puppy and sometimes gets distracted and may need commands repeated. Bronx also can get a little over excited when it comes to meeting other dogs and people and may jump on them or at them to greet them. This is something that will need continuous work to be corrected.

Story
(I'm being fostered in the East Bay)Hi! My name is King. I'm a very handsome boy looking for a new home! I came to Marine Humane due to a housing situation.I am 7 years old, crate trained, and house-trained. I will sit patiently while you prepare my food and my foster brother and I eat close to each other.I have had only one family since I was a pup and being in a Foster home is very confusing. I love my foster brother but new dogs make me nervous and I do not totally understand boundaries. That can be rough on other animals that like their space or are smaller than me.I love walking, running, playing tug, and chewing on a ball. But I also have my favorite spot in the sun.I can get very excited and this can be difficult for some. I know I look big and can be too rough sometimes, but I just want to show love. I know with patience and care I will be the best dog for you. ***ADOPTION FEE PAID*** Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 61.8 Age: 6yrs 6mths 1wks

Story
Rory is roaring to snuggle into your life. Just a wee bit shy at first, Rory warms up quickly and vies to be at the top of your BFF list. Young and agile in body and mind, Rory is a sensitive lad with sharp observation skills. He already knows "sit" and is learning "wait," "leave it" and a few other handy around the house skills. Rory is kind and curious about new people - he takes a minute, but honestly, that's a good trait; no riff raff in this guy's life. He is very polite and socially graceful with other dogs; he previously lived with another smallish dog and gets along fabulously in his foster home with 2 fussy senior dogs (who both seem to think he's just fine to have around, thank you very much).Full disclosure: Rory was surrendered by his previous family because of house training issues. PLEASE SPEAK WITH RORY'S FOSTER MOM to clear up this issue. She is having a very good experience with him and has some easy tips to offer. She's more than happy to speak with you prior to or even after adoption. Rory is a quick study and has been an A+ student so far.You really won't find a more cuddly, loving, bright, fun and delightful Chihuahua/Min Pin anywhere. Rory is a devoted companion and wants very much to please you. He's got so many wonderful years ahead; he'd love to share them with you. Primary Color: Red Weight: 12 Age: 1yrs 8mths 4wks
