Story
for His Next Forever Home Max is a 7-year-old Poodle/Shih Tzu mix who has been loved by my mother since he was a puppy. Unfortunately, my mother is now on hospice care, and we are looking for a wonderful new home for this special little guy. Max has spent his entire life with a senior owner, so he is very comfortable around walkers and a calm household environment. He is fully house-trained and has excellent manners in the home. He loves car rides, enjoys going for walks, and regularly visits the dog park. While Max gets along with many dogs, he can be selective about his canine companions. There doesn't seem to be a specific type of dog he dislikes, so careful introductions are best. What Max consistently loves is people. Max is affectionate, loyal, and happiest when he is with his humans. He enjoys curling up on the couch for snuggles, accompanying you on outings, and simply being by your side. He has a sweet, loving personality.

Story
Meet Lil! At 9 years 8 months old, Lil is a very resilient dog who despite losing a limb resulting from an automotive incident, having to be surrendered due to her long-time guardian’s health and being in several foster homes over the past year – is quick to bond with her new guardian and home environment. Lil, affectionally dubbed Lily still very much enjoys a nice stroll out with low impact activities being the best kind of physical activity to adhere to her limitations. When she is not expending energy, Lil loves nothing more than a good nap in the company of her human guardians. Lil is at an ideal weight of approximately 40lbs. Lil would do best as the only dog in the household.
