Story

Remi is a wonderful dog in many ways. She is a beautiful 4 year old shepherd/collie mix with a very sweet personality, eager to please, bonds with her person quickly and is very gentle and even protective of young children and her person. She walks beautifully on a leash (and off-leash right by your side) and indifferent to the presence of other dogs on walks. Energy level is on lower end. We adopted Remi in March from a family that had to relocate due to military orders. Unfortunately they didn’t disclose her challenges and moved right after. She chases/lunges/nips cats, is aggressive toward dogs in her space and very nervous toward strange men (lunges/nips at their but). We’ve worked with a private trainer who has agreed that our home is not the right place for her. We genuinely care for Remi and we believe she will thrive in the right environment. Remi’s ideal home is with a single woman (or couple) who work from or are retired, live a fairly quiet life with no cats.

I got Cantinflas from a person on facebook less than a year ago, he’s a five year old Maltese small dog. He’s amazing with children and other pets he doesn’t bark at all very quiet doggy. I’d describe him as loving, gentle, very calm, and just a sweetheart in general. He loves going on walks and yes he leads the way when he’s at the house it’s almost as if he’s not there because again you never hear him bark. I love this dog so much that I want him to find a home where he’ll be loved and I’ll always know he’ll be okay so if you decide you’re interested love him the same way he’ll love you be his safe space like he’ll be for you. Unfortunately life changes happen and I’m not in a place where I can give him his forever home with me so I’m hoping I can find him one through one of you.

Meet Lil! At 12 years old, Lil is both sweet and mighty! Despite losing a limb from an auto accident, she still very much enjoys a nice stroll around the neighborhood. And when she's got her sniffs in and her leg is feeling a little tired, she loves to get in her wagon for a ride the rest of the way. Being pulled along like the Princess she is. If she's not cruising in her wagon or playing the "find it" game around the house sniffing for treats, Lil loves nothing more than a good nap in the sunshine. While she does enjoy making dog friends, Lil would do best as the only dog in the household where she can be spoiled in her golden years.
