Story
Looking for a good family that has the time and energy to adopt our Canela Canela was found about a year ago 2/2025 just about at two months approximately Canela has lots of energy, she loves to play , run you name it She’s loving too she loves kisses ,her coddling. Unfortunately Canela does not always love others dogs that aren’t part of the family or some reason has specific choices on the people she likes ,chooses who she likes. I can say she’s okay with kids We have kids at our house I just don’t know if it’s only our kids. I need a family that will care ,has lots of patience will have that energy she offers . A nice big ,secure back yard is a must Canela loves digging dirt holes , She enjoys chewing on toys , some shoes ,Canela is full package. Canela was taken some dog training at some point however due to being a bit pricey we stopped going . she even had a good social time with other dogs however it’s been a few months since then .She’s good in her kennel.

Story
Name: Mia Age: 6 years old Mia is a sweet and loving dog who is looking for a new family. We got her from a local breeder. Due to our busy schedules, we are no longer able to give her the time and attention she deserves, especially daily walks and companionship. Mia is very friendly and loves kids. She has never bitten anyone and has a gentle, affectionate personality. She is used to living outdoors on a 2-acre property, so she has had plenty of space to run and explore. She would do best with a family who has the time to walk her regularly and spend quality time with her. Mia is a wonderful dog, and this decision is only being made because we want what is best for her.

Story
Jerry Lee is an affectionate, energetic 11-month-old German Shepherd looking for a home that can match his playful personality. We adopted him from a shelter in Santa Rosa when he was 9 months old, and he’s grown into a smart, loyal pup who loves people and other dogs. He’s potty trained and very food-motivated, which makes him a great candidate for future training. Like many young shepherds, he still needs guidance with jumping and chewing, but with structure, exercise, and consistency, he will absolutely thrive. Jerry Lee’s favorite activities include going to the park, exploring, running with other dogs, and getting attention from anyone willing to give it. He would do best with someone who understands the needs of working breeds: plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and regular training. If you’re looking for a fun, loving young shepherd to grow and bond with, Jerry Lee could be the perfect fit for your family.

Story
Duke is estimated to be three years old. He was rescued from the Solano county shelter in September. He was found as a stray and spent 5 weeks at the shelter before coming to us as a foster. We were hoping he would be a great fit for our family but is reactive on leash and we do not have a yard. He also needs more training than we can provide. He is crate trained and a typical Velcro dobie. He is playful with lots of energy. Would be ideal for him to go to an active home with a yard. No other pets at this time recommended with him. He would do best in a home with someone working from home. He has sensitive skin and digestion. Recommend to keep him on purina pro plan. Comes with crate bowls toys etc.

Story
Meet nectarine — a sweet, affectionate, and eager-to-please 1.5 to 2-year-old Pitbull Terrier mix looking for her forever home. She was recently saved from the euthanasia list at Oakland Animal Services, and she’s proven to be an incredibly loving and resilient girl. Her Best Qualities: Fantastic walker — no reactivity to dogs, or people. She walks beautifully on leash and loves exploring. Friendly & loving — she adores people and bonds quickly. Smart & eager to learn — she picks up training cues fast Playful and silly — she’ll keep you entertained with her goofy energy. Nectarine has a higher energy level than expected and would thrive in a home with a yard, more space, or someone who enjoys an active lifestyle. She’s currently living in an apartment, and the noise above her makes her a bit anxious, so a quieter home environment would help her relax. She is a typical enthusiastic, happy dog, so she may jump or be mouthy when excited. Fees going to ace of hearts rescue
