German Shepherd Dog Husky

Fulton, CA
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Spayed or Neutered,
Story
She is a 5 yr old German shepherd husky mix. She gets along with almost all dogs (not great with little dogs). She is great with cats and kids of all ages. We really love her as a companion, but she barks too much at our landlord and we have to make the tough decision to rehome her to keep our home for our child. She's very loyal and a good guard dog.

Story
Meet Maple! She`s as sweet as her name. She loves getting attention, pets, and lots of cookies. Maple will need some basic obedience training and leash work as she pulls a bit. While she loves getting attention from people, she appears indifferent about other dogs. Because of this, we would recommend a long introduction to another dog.

Story
Princess has free, sponsored post-adoption training sessions - please call us for more information. Princess is currently doing a board and train at K9 Activity Club. If you are interested in meeting her, please call us at 707-565-7100. Look at that face! Princess is a young girl looking for love. She enjoys going for walks and learning new cues for treats. She is wonderfully affectionate, and we love her puppy-like playful nature. While here with us, Princess was introduced to another dog, and she seemed more interested in the person at the other end of the leash than her canine friend. We feel Princess will need long and slow introductions with other dogs that ensure it`s a good match for both dogs. We feel an adult only home without children, with a family who has experience with dogs, would be best for her. @sonomacountyanimalserv Our sweet Princess is still here! Almost an entire year in our shelter. And while staff and volunteers provide the best love & care, the shelter is not home. ? Home (Slowed) - Edith Whiskers

Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Kona is an Arabian Village dog also know as a Wadi Dog, a street dog from Oman. Kona loves to play with other dogs, but her play style is a bit rough. She's very bright and needs a lot of mental stimulation. She enjoys agility work and even like swimming in a pool. She knows sit, down, roll over, paw, prance, and jump up. Her ideal home will have a male dog playmate & a fully fenced yard. She is in a foster home where the people work from home, so she will do best in a home where someone is home the majority of the time. Kona wants a lot of attention from her people. Kona does NOT like taking walks. She is pully & barks at other dogs on walks. If you are interested in Kona please fill out our online application. https://www.greyhoundfriendsforlife.org/adopt/adoption-application/

Story
Meet Ace! Ace is a swell guy who is looking for a home. He arrived to us as an owner surrender. Ace loves people, getting pets, and all that fun stuff! He solicits attention and is looking for a home that can teach him the basics. According to Ace`s previous home he had a hard time staying in his own yard and would sometimes go explore. We are recommending a breed experienced home for Ace and that he go to an adult only home. Although Ace is lovely, he will need somebody who can understand his stubborn ways. Ace is a true husky! He is vocal when meeting another dog, but is very tolerant and playful. *FREE ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN SPONSORED* @sonomacountyanimalserv Meet our goofy baby, Ace!!! Story
Meet Zeus! He`s an energetic, friendly, and very smart Husky. He`s about 2 years & 3 months old. He`s bouncy & super playful! Zeus would be the perfect running, hiking, or outdoor companion. He will need someone that can keep up with his energy level. While he does enjoy more of a fast-paced life, he always has time for a little bit of love! We are recommending he go into a home with children 15 years and older. We believe a home with no small animals would be best for Zeus. While here, he has met with another dog his size & was forward. We believe he may do best as the only dog in the home or with another well-mannered dog. *FREE ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN SPONSORED* @sonomacountyanimalserv If you need a running partner & goofball extraordinaire - look no further! Zeus is the pup for you ?? ? Sunroof - Nicky Youre & dazy @sonomacountyanimalserv Zeus had a big day! He had so much fun getting to see his selections! ? Storytelling - Adriel
