Story
Info about dog: Name: Kylo 8y/o pure bred German Shepherd Behavior pros: neutral around strangers (people), fairly good recall, he lives with another confident large dog and does well with her after a slow introduction Behavior cons: leash and fence reactive to other dogs, high prey drive (not good with small dogs, cats, chickens) Reason for giving up: We do not have time to devote to him and his training. We hope another family can give him lots of love and attention. Notes: Ideally who adopts him would need a privacy fence or to live in the country because of his reactivity and because he likes to be outside :)

Story
Cookie is a 5-year old pit mix. She an amazing emotional support dog. Cookie loves to cuddle and play. Cookie is good with cats and kids. Cookie shows uncomfortable body language around other dogs but has never had any alteration. I’ve had Cookie all of her life, but recently I’ve run into some struggles. Cookie does deserve the world, and she would make any one happy.

Story
Tippy is a handsome, healthy, and friendly deaf Border Collie mix. To know Tippy, is to love him. He will thrive as a part of an attentive home environment with a safe and suitable area for Tippy to exercise. Preferably a secure fenced in yard where he can play fetch, his passion. And never off leash in public of course as he is deaf. I adopted Tippy from a rescue that is no longer functioning. So I am looking to place him on my own. The reason that I’m rehoming Tippy is that I have recently retired and I’m moving out of state soon. As a result , I’m unable to take Tippy with me. He’s house trained, kennel trained and Tippy really loves car rides! He’s incredibly observant! He has not had leash training but generally does well on a leash in my experience with him. Tippy knows hand signals and will watch you and your hands for direction. Tippy is up to date on vaccines and preventatives. He just had his teeth cleaned also. Thank you very much…

Story
Mango is a 2-year-old female pit mix who is available for adoption at CCHS! Mango was found as a stray, so we don't know much about her background. She gets very excited when seeing other dogs outside, so she may benefit from some desensitization training. Come meet Mango at CCHS!
