I am currently living in a very loving home, but unfortunately, I have way too much energy for my current family’s needs. They would like to see me in a home with people young enough to play with me. Hi, my name is Harper and I'm about 9 months old. I was rescued by Bond County Humane Society (BCHS) from Fayette County Animal Control. Me and my litter mate were found running at large. We had been in Animal Control for 3 months without anyone interested in adopting. I am friendly and playful. I get excited when I meet new people and dogs. I play with Brandy, another dog at the shelter. I love playing fetch with toys. I am still learning my manners, but I know "Sit" really well. I enjoy water so much that when I'm outside playing I will put most of my head in the water when I get a drink. I really love the kiddie pool on a hot day. I wasn't sure about the leash at first, but now I enjoy my walks on leash. I am an active girl so my family should be active as well. I'm probably not house trained, but I am crate trained. I am available for immediate adoption. I am spayed, UTD on vaccinations, heartworm tested, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped. My adoption fee is $250. We have had Sadie all of her life. We got another dog when she was 1 year old and unfortunately due to changing circumstances we no longer have the time or money to take care of them both. She is EXTREMELY friendly, completely house trained, can be trusted to be left alone for extended periods of time. She tolerates small children but does really well with older children and adults. She gets along great with other dogs and cats as well. Sadie does have allergies that require some dietary consideration. We noticed a significant improvement when we switched her away from chicken- and beef-based food. Unfortunately, the food that worked best for her became difficult for us to afford.I want so desperately to find a good home for her. We love her very much but belive it isn't fair to her for us to keep her when someone else may be able to give her a better life. I hope to hear from you, thank you!
