Story
Bear is a sweet dog. He was abandoned at my house about a year and a half ago. I cannot take care of him much longer and do not want to put him in a shelter. He is a large dog and needs space to run such as a farm or fenced yard. I have 5 year old twin grandsons and he is very sweet to them. I have an inside dog that he loves. He has not been around any other animals except our dog since I have had him. He is protective and would make a great outside and or inside dog for someone. He is shy of strangers and will take some time to acclimate to a new environment.

Story
Unfortunately, we need to rehome our dog Juniper. We call her Junie. Junie has lived with me and my girlfriend for the past three years while I was in college. I am relocating and unable to take Junie with me. Junie would be best in a home with no kids and no other pets. Junie is a very sweet dog.

Meet Cooper: The Loving Goldendoodle Looking for His Forever Home 🐾 Cooper is a 3-year-old Goldendoodle with a touch of Pyrenees, and he's looking for a special home where he can relax, snuggle, and live his best life. If you're searching for a calm, loving companion, Cooper might be the one for you! ❤️ A little about Cooper: ✨ Calm and Relaxed: Cooper enjoys lounging on the couch and taking it easy—he's not really into fetch or playing with toys (though he's had plenty of them!). He loves being near his people and is happiest when he’s close to you. 🛋️ Loves to Snuggle: This sweet boy thinks he’s a lap dog and will happily curl up next to you for all the snuggles you can give. He’s a big fan of car rides and loves spending time with his humans. 🐾 Low-Key Lifestyle: While he’s not super active, Cooper does enjoy a quiet walk and will gladly join you on strolls. He’s a peaceful presence at home and would thrive in an adult-only, low-stress environment.

Story
Chase has been adopted twice and returned twice. He is a runner. Chase can open your front door and he will run away. Now that the hard part is out of the way, Chase is an awesome boy and would be a wonderful companion. He is an eye catching red and white color with ice blue eyes. When inside he lays around calmly, he is housetrained and obedient. Outside he would need a very secure fence. With some training Chase will make someone a wonderful dog.

Story
Charlie has been with us for a good long while. He is actually a forever puppy, look at his eyes and see for yourself! Charlie is a sweet sweet sweet boy. He just wants all of the attention and those eyes of his will make you melt. Charlie is a hard place, he does not do well with male dogs and female dogs would need a meet. Charlie used to be part of a breeding operation so he lived well with other dogs at one time he just is not doing well with other dogs in the shelter. Please come to Macoupin County Animal Control and view Charlie for adoption. Our hours are weekdays 10-2, closed Tuesday, and Saturday 8-12
