Story
His momma was a stray. Her name is Pearl and she has C-section on July 10th.. Estimated to mature at about 20 inches tall and about 40 pounds--not little, not too big, but just right medium size! He is a very nice pup and are patiently waiting to fill someone's life with companionship, loyalty, and love. House-trained, up to date on healthcare, great with kids and other dogs. He is being fostered in Virginia but we offer free transport to many states. I've included a DNA test on Onyx, his sibling.

TundraHusky2 yrs old57 poundsI came to the shelter as a stray.I like to play with other dogs, and I especially like to play with toys. The squeaky toys are the best!I have a beautiful white husky coat and some amazing ears to go with it.I am learning to walk on a loose leash but still need some time to perfect.I also enjoy jogging alongside a bike. I get to burn lots of energy that way.I would benefit from an active household. To be my best self.

Story
Winston is a sweet, energetic 1-year-old boy (born June 10, 2024). He’s one of our dogs’ puppies and has grown into a loving, playful companion. Winston is potty trained and will go to the door and ring a bell when he needs to go outside. He’s full of energy and would do best in a home with a yard where he can run and play. Despite his playful side, he’s a total lapdog who loves cuddling and watching TV. Winston gets very excited when people come home and may jump up in excitement, so he’d do best in a home with older children. He’s not aggressive—just happy and eager to play! He is great with other dogs with the exception of a previous neighbors dog that didn’t do well with other dogs. He likes to chase and play with cats, though his energy may be too much for some. He loves his rope toys and stuffed animals, and is happiest when he’s close to his people. Winston would make a wonderful companion for someone who can give him lots of love, attention, and space to play.

MaxShepherd mix2 yrs old67 poundsI was a transfer in from another shelter where I have been residing for the last 9 months.I needed a change of pace and lots more exercise. So far, I have one friend and will hopefully find more.Play groups will be great for my energy and mental well-being.Once the weather is better, I hope to try my hand at bike riding. The trainer here, thinks that would be great for me!I do need dog friends who would like to rough and tumble with me. I do have a rough play style.I do walk well on a leash. That`s great for a bigger dog.

Cricketwire haired terrier1 year old40 poundsI was a transfer in from another shelter that was full.I am timid in nature and would do best in a quieter household.I have the prettiest tan and white scruffy coat.I do have a friend here, but she is more energy than I. My preference would be a mellow dog like me. I have tall legs and a medium sized body weighing in at 40 pounds.I don`t have a lot of interest in toys. I may chase after a ball but not bring it back to you. With patience, I will be a great dog.
