Story
His momma was a stray. Her name is Pearl and she has C-section on July 10th.. Estimated to mature at about 20 inches tall and about 40 pounds--not little, not too big, but just right medium size! He is a very nice pup and are patiently waiting to fill someone's life with companionship, loyalty, and love. House-trained, up to date on healthcare, great with kids and other dogs. He is being fostered in Virginia but we offer free transport to many states. I've included a DNA test on Onyx, his sibling.

TundraHusky2 yrs old57 poundsI came to the shelter as a stray.I like to play with other dogs, and I especially like to play with toys. The squeaky toys are the best!I have a beautiful white husky coat and some amazing ears to go with it.I am learning to walk on a loose leash but still need some time to perfect.I also enjoy jogging alongside a bike. I get to burn lots of energy that way.I would benefit from an active household. To be my best self.

Story
Cricketwire haired terrier1 year old40 poundsI was a transfer in from another shelter that was full.I am a medium energy girl. I have the prettiest tan and white scruffy coat.I do have a friend here named Waffles that I like to play with. I have tall legs and a medium sized body weighing in at 40 pounds. The longer that I`m here, the more interest I`ve had with toys. Almost too much interest because I`ve started to guard them, so a home with no small kids may be best for me.With your time and patience, I will be a great dog.

Story
Missy AnnSpayed Female Lab mix3 Years 60 lbs Tripod superstarMissy Ann has been on quite the journey — and what a glow-up it’s been. After months of dedicated care and every effort to save her injured leg, Missy ultimately underwent an amputation. And then? She absolutely thrived.Missy previously had a non-healing wound on one leg that was later diagnosed as chondrosarcoma (a type of bone cancer). To fully address this and give her the best chance at long-term health, the affected leg was amputated. Based on her treatment and recovery, we believe Missy is now cancer-free. While she does not require any further medical care at this time, we want adopters to be aware of her history.Losing her leg hasn’t slowed her down one bit. Missy Ann has adjusted beautifully and gets around like it was never any other way. She’s been an honorary office dog during her recovery and has stolen hearts left and right with her playful, happy-go-lucky lab personality. She loves toys, enjoys playtime, and brings that classic lab joy wherever she goes. Missy Ann can be a little selective with other dogs, so a meet and greet is required to ensure a good match, but with the right fit she will be an amazing companion. After more than 4 months with us, we’ve grown incredibly attached to this special girl — which is exactly why we want nothing but the very best for her. Missy Ann has faced everything with resilience and grace, and now she’s ready for what she’s always deserved: a loving home of her own.You can read more about chondrosarcoma below https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/chondrosarcoma-in-dogs
