Story
Mando is a sweet dog who enjoys jumping around and following me everywhere. He is house trained but is still working on staying off the counters when there is food and im not paying attention. He is good with kids, dogs, and cats if introduced properly. He had been attacked 2 times when he was a puppy when going on walks so he barks and gets scared of strangers walking on side walk but likes to play with new dog friends in open yards or dog parks. He has food sensitivity that causes his skin to breakout if its cheap dog food or full of grains. He is around 6 years old we just dont have a yard anymore or the time to give him a good life.

Story
🌸 BLOSSOM — YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND 🌸Blossom is a 6-year-old Terrier mix with the sweetest soul and the best “couch potato” skills around. She’s a pro at lounging, loves to sunbathe, and will never say no to some one-on-one toy time. She’s gentle, affectionate, and happiest when she’s close to her people. Blossom is house-trained, spayed, up to date on all her vet care, and completely ready to move in and make herself at home. Her one request? She’d love to be your one and only. Blossom doesn’t want to share her humans with other pets—she wants all the love (and snacks) for herself! If you’re looking for a loyal, low-key best friend who will fill your days with cuddles and sunshine, Blossom is your girl.📞 Call 260-868-2409 ext. 101 to schedule💻 Apply at www.dekalbhumanesociety.orgAn adoption application can be filled out on the DHS website https://www.dekalbhumanesociety.org/adopt. Story
Meet The Gambler! At just 1–2 years old, The Gambler is learning to play the hand he has been dealt. He came to us as a stray in heartbreaking condition, petrified, infested with fleas, and missing patches of hair. Do not let his rough start fool you. Once he realizes you are safe, this boy goes all in, warming up quickly and dealing out kisses galore. The Gambler has made remarkable progress. In the beginning he would bolt out the door each morning in fear, and every night we had to lure him into his kennel with treats and goodies. Now he happily greets us in the morning with a wagging tail and kisses, eager to start the day.He seems to be housebroken, as he only goes potty in his outdoor kennel. He does not seem to mind other dogs, though right now he is more focused on finding his footing and learning the rules of the game in a new environment. What he needs most is a patient home willing to give him time to decompress and show him the jackpot of love and safety he has been missing. We always remind adopters of the 3-3-3 rule: 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn routines, and 3 months to fully feel at home. With time, patience, and kindness, The Gambler is sure to be a winning bet.If you are ready to take a chance on love, this sweet boy is waiting to go all in with you.An adoption application can be filled out on the DHS website https://www.dekalbhumanesociety.org/adopt.
