Story
Cooper is an 8 year old 1/2 American, 1/2 Euro Great Dane. He is great around children and kids, loves to play with cats(they don’t like to play with him because of his size) and is ok with other dogs as long as they’re properly introduced and you give him time to adjust. Cooper struggles with severe anxiety. He can be medicated, he did well on Prozac previously. Due to his anxiety, he cannot be in a crate and will be a couch potato all day as long as anything he can get into is put away. He needs a home where someone is always home and/or another dog is there that he can bond with. Cooper also needs a home where someone is VERY experienced with Danes and is willing to be patient with him. He’s not up to date on shots because the vet causes quite a bit of anxiety so given his age, he doesn’t usually leave the house much. I can get him up to dates on shots prior to rehoming. I have loved Cooper the whole 8 years I’ve had him but my life cannot fit his severe anxiety into it anymore.

Story
Royal is almost 16 months old. His birthday is December 29,2024. He loves to run and play outside! He is very people friendly and gets excited to see everyone which can cause him to jump. He loves to snuggle and watch movies. His favorite movie is Twister (2024) and love watching Shrek or action movies. He is allergic to chicken. He is semi potty trained he still has accidents in the house. He wants to play with other dogs and cats but can get too rough. He’s only been around kids a couple times for a very short amount of time so that is something that has to be worked on

Story
We are now accepting applications on Diesel!   This little Diesel engine is 10 yrs old & 8 lbs.  Don't let his age fool you!  He is quite spry & runs around with dogs 1/2 his age just fine!  Diesel is a velcro dog & really just wants to be adored by his person all day long.  He is dog friendly but would also be fine as an only dog.  He can be cat tested if needed.  Diesel is doing fantastic with house training; he'd do best with a regular potty schedule.  There may be some potty accidents as he adjusts to your schedule but he wears belly bands like a champ!  He does fine in a crate as well.  We were told Diesel was around children in the past.  He can get nippy when he is scared so children 12+ who know to give him space when needed should be fine.  He will need slow intros to new people. Diesel walks well on a leash.  He does not need a fenced in yard but should always be kept on a leash when outside.  Diesel is a happy & healthy boy with a lot of love to give!  If you love chihuahuas as much as I do, he will be a great addition to your family.  Applications to adopt are at www.trackingintheshadows.com.  Please live within 1 hour of Elkhart, Indiana.  Diesel's adoption fee is $150.  He is fully vetted for 1 year, neutered, microchipped, & on monthly preventatives.  He also recently had a dental with 15 extractions so keeping up on his dental hygiene is a must. Once approved, we will set up a day/time for you to meet Diesel.  Please be ready to take him home within 1-3 days after application approval. *We do not accept electric/underground fences. All dogs & cats in the home must be spayed/neutered & up to date on core vaccines & preventatives in order for your application to be approved.* ##2679072##
