Meet Fife! Old man Fife is a 8 year old dachshund/JRT mix. This sweet little guy has a lot of love to share❤️🐾. Fife might be a little frosty faced but he still has a lot of energy left! He loves to play with his young foster siblings and occasionally gets the zoomies, enticing his siblings to play. When he gets tired from playtime, Fife loves attention from his people and loves to snuggle. He will slowly crawl over to you asking for pets and belly rubs. Fife does have Addison’s disease that’s managed by daily prednisone and a monthly zycortal injection. Fife is crate trained and potty trained. He gets along well with other dogs. He has not been cats or kid tested at this time. He will come to you when he wants petted, to get belly rubs, and sit on your lap. 🐾Chewy is on anxiety medication, and will need to continue it to help him stay his happy self. He needs a home that will allow him to live out his life in comfort. 🐾Chewy knows how to use a doggie door. He will crate for treats. He prefers to sleep next to his human. He walks on leash and loves car rides. When on leash, a halter is recommended, pulling on a collar makes him cough. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, on yearly heartworm prevention, and is microchipped. We were told his mom had some German shepherd in her. 🪼He is great with other dogs and would benefit from having another dog in the home. He is still coming out of his shell and learning so for now, Nemo does require a physically fenced in yard. He is making great strides at potty training and walking on leash. 🦑Nemo is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, heartworm tested negative and on monthly heartworm prevention.
