Story
We got her when she was about one years old. She’s 4 now, She came from a bad home. She has a little bit of behavioral issues, but she’s a sweet girl. She loves to play and she loves kids. She needs somebody that will have time for her. I work many long hours and I am struggling to take care of her as it is and I’m getting ready to move in a year and I want to know if she’s in a good home.

Story
I am only asking for money to make sure she goes to a good home. She is a very sweet and kind pitbull mix. I found Winnie, a one-year-old pitbull mix, back in October. I took her to the vet to be checked for lice and for a chip. She had neither. The vet stated she is a little over 1 year old and a pit bull mix. She was spayed and given a rabies shot at the Veterinary hospital in Decatur in March. She is extremely loving and sweet. She is very gentle with our two daughters when they give her treats. We have been trying to crate train her while we are gone, but she is still learning. She does love to chew on things, so make sure she always has a toy available. We were hoping that with her being spayed, her temperament would decrease, but it did not. She has too much energy for us to handle. She needs more one-on-one attention and training. We do not have time to take her for walks or a backyard to give her the adequate space she needs for exercise. It hurts me that we have to rehome her.

High energy. Crate trained. Loves walks or runs more but he pulls a lot. Would be amazing with a person who has a big yard with fence or something like that. He’s 5. He loves belly rubs and treats and will eat anything. Chases cats but doesn’t hurt them. He just wants to chase something I think. But he is a good boy. Does bark when he wants something. Likes fetch. He’s territorial over his crate sometimes, it really depends on your energy.

Yogi is a 3.5 year old purebred husky. He has a lot of energy as a husky and with our third child on the way we don’t have the time to walk him. He is a very good dog and can be very chill. Hes great with our other dogs and with our children, but he can be territorial (food, toys, etc.).

Golden years, golden heart! 💛Meet Fife! Fife is a 9-year-old dachshund mix weighing in at 25 lbs. This charming little guy is the definition of a gentle soul and is ready to spend his golden years soaking up love in a forever home.Fife is a laid-back boy who enjoys the simple things in life. He loves sunbathing in a cozy spot or lounging by your side. He’s a big fan of treats (seriously, they’re the way to his heart!) and happily keeps himself entertained with a good chew toy. His favorite place, though, is right next to you, soaking up belly rubs and snuggles.Fife has Addison’s disease, but don’t let that scare you. He’s thriving! With a simple routine of a monthly zycortal injection and a daily prednisone pill, he stays happy and healthy. Not to mention, he takes them like a champ! This sweet boy is both crate trained and potty trained. He’s great about letting you know when he needs to go outside and does best with regular potty breaks. He gets along well with other dogs, and occasionally gets the zoomies to play with his foster siblings. He hasn’t been tested with cats or kids just yet.He loves to go on walks and walks nicely on a leash.Fife is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and on regular heartworm prevention—he’s all ready to head home with you!If you’re looking for a loyal, low-key companion with a heart of gold, Fife might just be your perfect match.. if you’re interested in our sweet old man, please visit: www.pawsofadamscounty.com and complete an adoption applicationWhen applying, please answer each question completely and honestly. Story
Hi everybody, I'M CHAMP💙When I first came into rescue a few weeks ago, I was very timid and shy. They called me flapjack because I pancaked on the floor a lot. I have definitely come out of my shell and am turning into the perfect mix of playful and affectionate! 💙I am a border Collie mix and am approximately 6 months old. I currently weigh in at 32 pounds. 💙I love playing with the doodle gang here in my foster home, so I know I would definitely love to have a playmate to help me burn off some of my puppy energy! 💙I'm great with the cats and will sniff them (they smell funny) and just lay next to them. 💙I'm basically Mr. Congeniality with everyone! 💙I am crate trained andhave learned the doggy door very well. I'm actually a pretty smart boy! Oh, and did I mention handsome...with these blue eyes and all? 💙I am still a puppy, so I need guidance on all puppy matters....chewing, jumping up, play biting etc.I also don't remember ever wearing a collar or being hooked to this thing they call a leash...and it's a little scary! I'm still learning to trust that process, but I'm getting the hang of it! 💙I will steal your heart and be your best friend and a treasured part of your family if you adopt me! 💙I am available for foster-to-adopt with my adoption being finalized after my vetting is complete.I already started those poky things they call vaccines and microchips and started taking monthly heartworm prevention. My vetting will be completed by the end of the month after my neuter (I'm not sure I even want to know what that is)! 💙If you're interested in me becoming a part your family, please submit an adoption application at www.pawsofadamscounty.com.The ladies here say you must answer all questions completely and honestly to be considered being lucky enough to share your life with me! 💙I can't wait to meet my forever family! 💙www.pawsofadamscounty.com
