Story
Annabelle is a 6- year old St. Bernard-Poodle mix adopted as a puppy from a breeder. She has lived with our family her entire life and has been raised around cats, other dogs, and children. She is a mix of high energy and lazy bones. She loves walks and sleeping (snoring) on the couch as she believes she is a lap dog. She has been through obedience training, but requires a firm hand as her high energy sometimes leads her into trouble. As a big girl she can escape regular crates and chain link fences, so she would require either a large country lot or 6’ fenced yard.we are rehoming her due to issues with her size and our youngest who has cerebral palsy and autism. She is much loved and we are looking for a family who can spoil her rotten while also keeping her out of any real mischief!

Story
High energy. Crate trained. Loves walks or runs more but he pulls a lot. Would be amazing with a person who has a big yard with fence or something like that. He’s 5. He loves belly rubs and treats and will eat anything. Chases cats but doesn’t hurt them. He just wants to chase something I think. But he is a good boy. Does bark a lot when he wants something, otherwise he’s good. Likes fetch. He’s territorial over his crate or food though.

Story
She’s a sweet affectionate doggy. She a year old. She’s mostly potty trained but she struggles holding her potty in when I’m at work. She also struggles signaling that she needs to go outside. It’s mostly if she’s sniffing around then hurry. OR ask her frequently and take her out frequently if you don’t have like a doggy door. That’s the only thing I have struggled with. She’s the most perfect dog otherwise! She’s playful with occasional zoomies lol and she loves cuddles all the time too! She plays with the cat and other dogs too. Super friendly! She does act protective of the home for like 2 seconds and if the person is okay then she’s okay too. She is a quick learner of commands when treats are involved. I don’t have a fenced yard and she doesn’t run off if let out off a leash. She stays close to you and everything! She’s really great other than the potty issues. But it’s probably a me problem as I have health issues and a very busy schedule. She deserves a better home!

Story
Meet Fife! Old man Fife is a 8 year old dachshund/JRT mix. This sweet little guy has a lot of love to share❤️🐾. Fife might be a little frosty faced but he still has a lot of energy left! He loves to play with his young foster siblings and occasionally gets the zoomies, enticing his siblings to play. When he gets tired from playtime, Fife loves attention from his people and loves to snuggle. He will slowly crawl over to you asking for pets and belly rubs. Fife does have Addison’s disease that’s managed by daily prednisone and a monthly zycortal injection. Fife is crate trained and potty trained. He gets along well with other dogs. He has not been cats or kid tested at this time. Fife does great on a leash and loves going on walks!Fife is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heart-worm negative, and on regular heartworm prevention. If you’re interested in adopting our sweet old man, head on over to our website at www.pawsofadamscounty.com and submit an adoption application.
