Story
Midas is a 4 year old Bully Mix. He is very sweet and friendly with people. We have had him at the kennel during my brother-in-laws illness and he has been good around other dogs We are looking to re-home him. My brother-in-law is ill and in the hospital, when he is released he will not be able to live on his own again and not be able to keep Midas. We want to find a good home for Midas. He deserves a chance for a good home with a family. He is neutered and currently has all his shots up to date.

Story
Sticks is a sweet 2-year-old Jack Russell who came from the same litter as her sister, Twigs. She’s an incredibly loyal dog who loves nothing more than being close to her humans — snuggling is absolutely her love language. She’s well-mannered in the house and only chews on her toys. Sticks does have one quirk: she isn’t a big fan of other dogs. While she can tolerate them at times, she can also become territorial, and her tension with her sister has been growing. Because of this, we believe Sticks will be happiest in a calm home where she can be the only dog and receive the solo attention she truly deserves. What she does love is adventure. Sticks is an energetic, outdoorsy girl who’s always up for a hike, walk, or run — you name it. She regularly ranks as one of the top Jack Russells on the Fi leaderboards for daily steps in the whole state, and she would thrive with an active person or family who enjoys getting outside.

Posted 11/28/2025 Phee came to the nest from a local shelter where she had given birth to 6 puppies Mid September. Phee is about 6 years old, she weighs about 15 lbs. and is in excellent health. She is very sweet and affectionate and LOVES being with her human. She loves to snuggle up next to you on the couch. Phee gets along great with other dogs and cats, she is fine with kids as well. She loves to be active and play with toys. For Phee we are looking for a home with active people who can take her for long walks and give her a lot of attention. Phee's adoption application of $300 includes vaccinations including Rabies, spaying, heartworm and flea prevention and micro chipping. Story
Posted 11/30/25. Selah came to the Nest a little over two months ago together with her 5 siblings from a local animal shelter. At the time the puppies were just born. Selah is now almost 10 weeks old. Being the smallest of the litter she is the little runt. The mother is a miniature poodle/bichon mix (our best guess) and she was found as a pregnant stray. We don't know what the puppies are a mix of but definitely terriers like Jack Russel, Schnauzer, and such. Selah is super sweet, very smart and like all puppies very playful. She loves to play and wrestle with her siblings and she likes toys. She is very inquisitive and loves to explore and run around in the yard. She currently weighs almost about 5.5 lbs. We think she could weigh up to 15 lbs. when fully grown. Selah will need proper basic training preferably with a professional dog trainer to learn boundaries and to become a happy pup that stays out of trouble. She is already picking up the potty outside routine but will need to be fully house and crate trained. For Selah we are looking for a home where she can get all the attention, exercise and play time she needs to develop into happy and well behaved dog. Katy will be vaccinated, dewormed, spayed and micro chipped. She is also current on parasite prevention. Her adoption fee is $300. If you are interested in Katy please fill out an adoption application on our web site. If you don't hear from us within 48 hrs. please send us an email at inthenest@gmail.com

Story
Gage lost her human due to a lifelong illness earlier this year and circumstances haven't allowed for her to be reunited with their family. Gage is looking for a loving and nurturing environment where she can lavish affection on her owner while snuggling on the couch or participating in outdoor excursions. Her utmost priority is to be by her person's side. Gage demonstrates exemplary indoor behavior and has mastered basic obedience commands such as sitting, shaking hands, and giving high-fives. Nevertheless, she would benefit from further training to address her propensity to pull on the leash during walks. Gage is a remarkable dog with a loving temperament. She has been spayed and is current on all vaccinations. Please message us for more information about this adorable girl!
