I absolutely love attention — pets, walks, treats, playtime, and even a quick glance in my direction can make my whole day. I'm happiest when I'm spending time with my people and would love nothing more than to have a family of my own to devote all my love and energy to. I came to the shelter as a stray, and I've come a long way since then. I've gone through training and have made huge improvements in my manners. I'm learning, growing, and showing everyone more and more of what a wonderful companion I can be. Despite all that progress, I've had very little interest from potential adopters. It's hard to understand because I'm always ready to greet people with a wagging tail and an enthusiastic hello. Maizie seems to have been dumped off at our house. She seems to be fully grown. She is very sweet and loves our dogs. She has kept a clean kennel and has barely made a peep. She loves to be loved on and to give kisses. Her coloring is absolutely beautiful! She is treat motivated and would learn quickly.We are working with our local shelter to get her spayed and fully updated with her vaccinations.
