Story
Meet Huck – Master of the Backyard Zoomies! -About 3 years old -No kiddos, please -Needs a 6ft+ fence (trust us on this one) -Dog-friendly -Super smart & full of love -Possibly cat-curious, we’re not sure yet Huck is around 3 years old and has a big personality packed into a handsome, zoomie-loving body. When it’s time to go outside? Huck is READY. Tail wagging, eyes sparkling, let’s-go-let’s-go READY. He’ll need a yard with a tall, secure fence (6ft or more!) because this boy is part athlete, part adventurer, and 100% pure joy when he’s outside. Inside? Total house dog vibes. He’s smart, well-mannered, and loves nothing more than chilling with his favorite humans. No little kids for Huck — he prefers a calmer, more predictable home where he can relax and shine. He gets along well with other dogs and might do fine with the right doggie buddy! Not sure how he feels about cats, but we’re happy to explore that if needed. So if you’re into backyard adventures, snuggle sessions, and sharing life with a loyal, goofy, super-smart best friend — Huck is your guy. Come meet him and fall in love

Story
Meet King – A Special Soul with So Much Love to Give King has been through more than his fair share since arriving at our shelter. After a series of tests, we discovered that King has a rare congenital condition called atresia ani—a narrowing of the anus that makes it difficult and uncomfortable for him to defecate. Because of this, King requires a home where he can be taken outside every 3–4 hours and receive daily medication along with a special diet to help manage his condition and keep him comfortable. On top of his medical needs, King prefers to be the only pet in the home—he's not a fan of other dogs, cats, or young children. But don’t let that fool you—King is full of love, personality, and playful energy. He adores deflated soccer balls and loves to run around proudly carrying them in his mouth. When he’s done playing, he’s just as happy to curl up beside you for snuggles and soak in all the affection you have to offer. King would thrive in a quiet, stable home—maybe with a retired couple or someone who’s home most of the day and has the heart and patience to care for a truly special boy. He’s been overlooked for far too long, but we know the right person is out there. Could you be the one to give King the love and comfort he so deeply deserves

But don’t roll that window down too far—Major LOVES car rides a little too much and will try to join the wind! -Mature, smart, and affectionate -Obsessed with car rides -Best in a quiet, adult-only home -No dogs, cats, or little kids -Can be a bit protective of his toys Major has a strong, independent personality and thrives in calm environments where he can just be himself.
