Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Diamond came to rescue as an older pup. Was told she is a Boxer mix. As she got older, it was obvious she was not a Boxer mix, unless she is pit/Boxer. She is the sweetest dog. Don't understand why she has been in the rescue for over a year. She loves everyone. Gets along with other dogs, especially if they like to wrestle with her. She enjoys car rides and long walks.

Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Annie came the the rescue with a litter of 3 week old puppies. Puppies have all gone to new homes, so Annie has been waiting for a home to call her own. She is very sweet once she gets to know you. She hasn't been socialized properly, so she can seem intimidating at first. She is still a young dog and has loads of energy. She would love a large fenced yard to run in. She will need to be taught proper manners to behave around kids. Do not recommend her in a home with kids under 8 years. She is a love and worth the time to make her a member of the family.

Story
Roscoe has all the mannerisms of a min pin. He thinks he is a big and tough dog. He is actually a real sweetheart once you get past his tough introduction. He will always alert you if someone shows up at your door. He is very energetic and loves to play and run. Do not recommend for a family with kids under 8 years old.

Woody

Chihuahua Pug

Male, 6 yrs
Wever, IA
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Woody's owner passed away, leaving him and his brother with no place to go. Woody was very spoiled. He is missing all the attention and spoiling he was accustomed to. Sadly his brother got adopted without him. Woody is such a kind and loving dog. He would benefit from having an active family to help him shed some excess weight. But as long as he gets lots of love he will be a happy dog.

Charlie Brown

Miniature Pinscher

Male, Adult
Wever, IA
Size
(when grown) Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
Details
Good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Charlie Brown is misunderstood. His owner passed away and he never had to learn to trust anyone else, and he was scared. Everything he knew was gone and he didn't know how to handle life now. As a result he was labeled aggressive. Charlie has been in rescue for over a year. I believe it's because people are unsure about how he will act. Charlie had a leg removed as a pup, due to a bad injury. He can be sensitive by that leg, as if it hurts him. He is the sweetest and funniest dog. He loves to cover up with a blanket to sleep. He doesn't like being picked up unless you know how he likes it, due to the amputation site. I can brag on this dog enough and do not understand why he is still here. He is by far the best dog here, in my opinion.

Leggins

Miniature Pinscher

Female, 2 yrs
Wever, IA
Size
(when grown) Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
Details
Good with dogs, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Leggins was surrendered due to family having to many dogs. She is currently in a foster home. Her siblings attacked her for unknown reason and she was injured. Foster family took her in so she could recover. It ended up being the best thing for her. They have been working on getting her housetrained and she is getting socialized. She is becoming a better dog and will be a wonderful addition to a family. She is an active little dog but also enjoys snuggles. Do not recommend a family with small children, school age should be fine.
