Annie came the the rescue with a litter of 3 week old puppies. Puppies have all gone to new homes, so Annie has been waiting for a home to call her own. She is very sweet once she gets to know you. She hasn't been socialized properly, so she can seem intimidating at first. She is still a young dog and has loads of energy. She would love a large fenced yard to run in. She will need to be taught proper manners to behave around kids. Do not recommend her in a home with kids under 8 years. She is a love and worth the time to make her a member of the family.

Story

Charlie Brown is misunderstood. His owner passed away and he never had to learn to trust anyone else, and he was scared. Everything he knew was gone and he didn't know how to handle life now. As a result he was labeled aggressive. Charlie has been in rescue for over a year. I believe it's because people are unsure about how he will act. Charlie had a leg removed as a pup, due to a bad injury. He can be sensitive by that leg, as if it hurts him. He is the sweetest and funniest dog. He loves to cover up with a blanket to sleep. He doesn't like being picked up unless you know how he likes it, due to the amputation site. I can brag on this dog enough and do not understand why he is still here. He is by far the best dog here, in my opinion.

Leggens grew up in a trailer home with lots of other dogs. She is on the timid side and was picked on by the other dogs. She was not socialized outside of the home. There were only women in the home, so she feels more comfortable with women than men. She loves to follow you around and will stay by your side.

Breeder release. He is not leash trained. He is kennel trained. JJ did not get socialized very .much so he is a bit standoffish. He wouldn't hurt a soul just doesn't know what to do around people. He is such a lovable dog. I think he would be ok with older kids that will let him slowly get to know them.

Shadow was surrendered due to being nippy. We were told that the ex boyfriend use to abuse him, so now he does not like men and is fearful of strangers. But once he gets to know you he will come running and enjoys cuddles. Shadow need a calm home with no men and shouldn't be trusted with small children. He is so cute it's hard not to pick him right up and squeeze him. Trust me, let him get settled and use to you first. He needs someone who is patient and understanding.

Theo came from an Amish farm where he had free range. He has been around several kinds of animals. He is very friendly and eager to please. He will make a wonderful farm dog or town dog. He enjoys running and playing and comes when called. His mom weighed less than 50#. Dad was from a neighbors farm, and was smaller in size but uncertain of breed. Theo is a very friendly dog. Pictures don't do him justice. You really need to meet Theo and be amazed with his temperament.
