She came to us as an owner surrender alongside her three sisters, and from the very beginning, Mouth showed us she was ready to take on the world.As the leader of the girls, Mouth was the first to warm up and trust us at the shelter. She is a sweet, confident puppy who loves attention, enjoys meeting new people, and is always happy to welcome pets and affection. She’s playful, curious, and has the fun-loving energy you’d expect from a young Lab mix.Mouth loves spending time with her sisters, but she’s also learning how to be her own dog and experience everything life has to offer. Despite spending much of his previous life outdoors, he has shown us just how loving and gentle he truly is.Tank came to us as an owner surrender and is now getting the fresh start he deserves. He has recently been diagnosed with heartworms, but he is currently undergoing treatment and doing well. To help keep his stress levels low while he heals, Tank is spending time in a foster home where he can rest, recover, and continue showing everyone what a great dog he is.Because he is still in the middle of his heartworm treatment, Tank is currently available as a foster-to-adopt placement. This means his future family can begin bonding with him now while supporting him through the remainder of his recovery. Once his treatment is complete, his adoption can be finalized.Tank is ready to leave his past behind and find a home where he can be loved, cared for, and included as part of the family. He’s a fun, intelligent boy who truly wants to connect with his person and be part of whatever you’re doing—whether that’s going for a walk, playing fetch, or just relaxing together.Arlo walks very nicely on a leash and enjoys staying close by your side. He’s eager to please, loves belly rubs, and has a playful side that shines when he’s chasing toys or entertaining himself. While he does have that classic terrier energy, he also has a calm side and settles well when his needs are being met.Arlo has been returned twice, and through those experiences we’ve learned more about what he truly needs to succeed. One return was due to barking in his kennel, and another appeared to be related to mismatched energy in the home that caused him stress. The behaviors described were not something we’ve consistently seen here. What we do see is a dog who thrives with clear, calm, and confident guidance.He can become destructive with toys if he’s bored or spending too much time kenneled, so an active home that can provide structure, engagement, and consistency will be key to helping him flourish. Arlo does best with dogs his size or larger and may not be the best fit for homes with small animals due to prey drive.Arlo is a dog with so much potential who is already showing us what a great companion he can be.
