Story

Bert is actually my grandson's dog. He does not have time to work with him nor spend much time with him as he's gone 12-15 hrs/day. Bert needs to be with people who can spend lots of time with him and train him more. He's very loving and eager to please, but he's very high energy. I am keeping him until we can find a suitable home for him but we have a large dog, also. He does like to keep our dog moving and nips at him a lot until our dog has had enough, then takes Bert down. He does do well with cats as he's around them all the time. Bert does okay with kids that are older than toddlers. My grandson's kids are over 7 as are the neighborhood kids so I don't think he sees them as needing to dominate. Bert is very aggressive with food. He will lunge and grab, then push our dog out of the way to eat his food besides his own. I keep working with him but he's quite "bull headed". He likes to "hunt" the birds and I think he may do good with some training.
