Story

Atlas was adopted from our local shelter in early 2018 and he's been raised with our other two dogs for nearly 10 years since. The shelter never knew what breeds he was exactly, so we are unaware as to what he is, but he's definitely something small. He's a very food motivated boy and can be a little jealous for attention at times. He does resource guard toys and food on occasion and he doesn't like to be picked up. He was diagnosed with Addison's Disease a few years ago and due to this, he does have accidents inside sometimes.

Meet Dante! He is a Great Pyrenees/retriever mix. He is 7-8 years. He is a lover and seeks to comfort people. He will make an amazing emotional support animal. Let's find this sweet senior a forever home! He appears to be housebroken but loves being outside. He came in with other dogs but he needs very slow introduction to other dogs (time to decompress in new home before introduction). He will need to be fed separately from other dogs due to going without it makes him nervous for other dogs to be around his food. He is good with people being around his food and will allow me to remove it while he is eating. While he is a big boy, he is very gentle. His only owner got ill and had to go into the hospital. She was unable to care for him and his two sisters for sometime before her son was able to get them to us. Because of this he is very underweight but steadily putting on weight. He had some skin issues from lack of food and fleas that are healing quickly with a round of antibiotics and steroids. He is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, current flea/tick/heartworm prevention and microchipped. If interested, please complete an application found on website.
