Story
Hello there. My name is Reece, and I am a sweet gal and 3.5 years old. I was at our big shelter a long while, and then APA came and got me. And I am now at their PAWS prison-training program learning lots of new skills. I graduated in December 2025. It took me a while because though I am a lover, I also have a stubborn streak. I am a high energy gal who needs an active family.

Hi, my name is Jackson! I came to APA from the shelter in mid-2025. I entered their PAWS prison dog program and graduated end of September. I am active, lovable, and playful. I also love to give lots of slobbery kisses!! I get along with most dogs, but I have a high prey drive so cannot be with cats/small animals. I will make a great addition to lots of families.

Story
Hi, my name is Honey. I came to APA in early 2025 from the big shelter, but I was originally from a rescue in El Paso. I have some anxiety issues and take medications for it, and though I didn't go to the prison, I was obedience-trained at APA. I need to be an only dog, but I love all people and kids. I know there is a family out there for me somewhere, and I'd make a good companion for a single person or couple.
