Story
Meet Preston! This sweet boy's got a heart of gold, despite a rough start. He's a bit of a chunky monkey right now, but he's shedding those extra pounds with a strict diet, and he's looking for a forever family to keep him on track! No table scraps, please! Preston's a social butterfly and loves dogs and cats alike! He's got a playful energy, loves to chase and wrestle (with dogs and dog-savvy cats), and would LOVE a family who shares his enthusiasm! He is mostly house trained as long as he is kept on a schedule. He isn’t a fan of car rides but meds help him with motion sickness. Walks are a must, but they are short for now until he loses more weight. He’ll happily join you on strolls. Preston's got an enlarged liver, so regular check-ups are a must, but he's worth it! If you're looking for a loyal buddy to join your crew, Preston might be the perfect fit! He will need an extra special adopter who will commit to his weight loss journey and prescription only diet. Will you give him a chance? Apply to adopt today! https://airtable.com/shrAznkHf1ruIqQwq

Story
Meet Gus, an XL, handsome Anatolian Shepherd estimated to be around 5 years old. Gus came to us from local animal control and has proven himself to be an absolute gem. He’s tall, about 85 lbs, and arrived underweight, so he’ll need a home committed to helping him continue to fill out and thrive. Gus is the definition of a gentle giant. He is wonderful with other dogs and truly exceptional with cats. He reads their cues perfectly—if they want space, he gives it; if they want to cuddle or play, he is gentle and patient. He has not been around children while in our care, but due to his size and strength, he would do best with older, sturdier kids who won’t be easily knocked over by an enthusiastic greeting or a happy tail swipe. This big guy has so many wonderful qualities. He’s great in the car and simply lays down in the backseat. He’s crate comfortable, fully potty trained, knows sit and shake, and is incredibly smart. He recently had his enormous dew claws removed and handled it all like a champ. Gus also loves to play fetch and absolutely enjoys cuddle time. His foster says he is “literally the perfect dog” with zero complaints. As an Anatolian Shepherd, Gus is very true to his breed. It’s important for adopters to research the breed and be prepared for the commitment, lifestyle, and responsibility that comes with owning a livestock guardian–type dog. Gus is amazing, but like all dogs of his breed, he needs the right home that understands and appreciates who he is. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, steady-hearted companion, Gus is ready to be that dog. Adoption application can be found at this link-https://airtable.com/shrAznkHf1ruIqQwq

Story
Meet Muscles This hunk of love is Muscles, a very handsome 2–3 year old “pocket pit”/microbully type who lives up to his name in the best way possible. At about 52 pounds of solid muscle, Muscles is a compact, powerful guy with a huge heart and an even bigger personality. In his photo, his broad smile, bright eyes, and confident stance say it all—he’s a total heartthrob and knows how to work the camera. Muscles came to rescue from animal control alongside his friend Cookie. They do not need to be adopted together, but they could be if someone is looking for a dynamic duo. Muscles is an absolute joy to live with. He does fantastic with housetraining—so much so that we’d confidently call him fully housetrained. He is crate trained, settles well, and understands household routines beautifully. He knows sit, stay, and down, and is eager to please, especially when affection is involved. He is dog-friendly and cat-friendly, and would be fine with kids, though he doesn’t always realize just how strong he is and could accidentally knock over a small child. Muscles is strong on leash and will need continued work on leash manners, but he enjoys walks and benefits from consistent guidance. True to his name, Muscles is all about affection. He wants to give all the kisses, soak up attention, and will happily melt into a puddle for belly rubs. He’s a total ham, loves being admired, and thrives on human connection. Muscles is looking for a home that will continue his training, provide structure, and appreciate just how special he is. In return, he offers loyalty, laughter, and an endless supply of love. If you’re searching for a well-behaved, affectionate, ridiculously handsome companion with a heart of gold, Muscles may just steal yours—fair warning. Story
Meet Cookie Cookie is a stunning 2-year-old Catahoula mix with a look you won’t forget. Her unique coat pattern and beautiful mismatched eyes make her truly one of a kind, and her sweet, affectionate personality makes her even more special. In her photo, you can see her soulful expression and attentive stance—she’s always tuned in to the people around her. Cookie came to rescue from animal control alongside Muscles. The two get along great, but they do not need to be adopted together. Cookie would do best with thoughtful introductions to other dogs, as she can be dog selective, and she has not yet been tested with cats. This girl absolutely loves attention. One of her favorite things to do is gently place her head in your lap and look up at you, asking for love and affection. Cookie thrives on human connection and enjoys being close to her people. She’s also a big fan of car rides, all the treats she can get, and long, leisurely walks where she can take in the world. Because Cookie is strong and enthusiastic, she would be best suited for a home with older children. She could easily knock over a small child without meaning to, simply due to her size and excitement. Cookie is looking for a home that understands her needs, provides structure and consistency, and appreciates her loyal, loving nature. In return, she offers devotion, companionship, and endless affection. If you’re searching for a unique, gentle-hearted dog who just wants to be loved and included, Cookie may be the perfect addition to your family. Story
Meet Bradley Bradley is a total sweetheart with a face and personality you won’t forget. Bradley is a brown and white mixed-breed dog with a soft brown nose and truly unique markings. His ears are absolutely hilarious and full of expression: they stand straight up when he’s curious or intent, and fold down when he’s feeling worried or nervous. It’s all the same dog, just showing his emotions. He also has an adorable crinkled half tail that adds even more charm. Bradley currently weighs about 30 pounds and still needs to gain some weight, but he’s doing well and improving. He is estimated to be about two years old. Bradley came to us from animal control and has shown himself to be a friendly, outgoing, and affectionate boy. He enjoys going for walks, loves belly rubs, and is always happy to spend time with his people. He is dog friendly and does well around other dogs. Bradley has not been cat tested at this time. Adopting a dog is a lifelong commitment. Bradley will need a home that can provide regular exercise, positive training, proper nutrition, routine veterinary care, and patience as he continues to settle in and gain confidence. A responsible adopter will also ensure safe containment, continued socialization, and the time and attention every dog deserves. If you’re looking for a sweet, social companion with a goofy side and ears that tell you exactly how he’s feeling, Bradley may be the perfect match for you. Story
Pretty Girl came to our rescue from a large hoarding case where she was not used to strangers. She gets along fine with other dogs, but we would prefer a home with older children. She has learned to walk on a leash and we would also prefer a home with a fully-fenced yard to keep her safe and to help her learn her boundaries. Pretty Girl is around two years old and has so much potential to turn into a devoted companion who will be patient with her and understand her background, and be devoted to giving her lots of love. *Pretty Girl is also part of our new "Foster to Adopt" program to make sure the dog is a good fit in their new potential forever home.
