Story
Pretty Girl came to our rescue from a large hoarding case where she was not used to strangers. She gets along fine with other dogs, but we would prefer a home with older children. She has learned to walk on a leash and we would also prefer a home with a fully-fenced yard to keep her safe and to help her learn her boundaries. Pretty Girl is around two years old and has so much potential to turn into a devoted companion who will be patient with her and understand her background, and be devoted to giving her lots of love. *Pretty Girl is also part of our new "Foster to Adopt" program to make sure the dog is a good fit in their new potential forever home.

Story
Mongo is a three year old hound mix breed who weighs in at a approximately 45 pounds. Mongo is extremely friendly and likes to play with other dogs and toys and needs someone who wants a buddy for life who wants to be by your side all the time. He is also good with cats. He does know some basic commands, but still needs a little work on some manners. Mongo is neutered as had his shots (will need a booster) and is house broken. He’s also crate trained although he prefers to be with his human of course! We prefer a home with no young children just because he has to warm up at first to new people, and he might accidentally knock a young child over, or be a little much for wee little ones. A fenced yard is preferred so that he can get a lot of his energy out. Help Mongo have a wonderful Christmas and bring him to your forever home! *Mongo is part of our foster to adopt program. Story
Meet Rooney. This handsome black-and-white senior is a 9–10-year-old Border Collie mix who came to us from local animal control. He hasn’t had an easy life, but he has a gentle heart and a real love for adventure. Rooney is a special-needs boy. He has cataracts and is going blind—currently he has roughly 50% vision. We want him to experience and enjoy all the sights he still can, and we’re hoping to place him in a loving home where he can feel safe, comfortable, and cherished for the rest of his life. Rooney is a sweet, loyal guy who enjoys exploring and will make a wonderful walking partner. He thrives on routine, reassurance, and quiet companionship. Because of his limited vision and past experiences, Rooney must be the only pet in the home—no cats, no other dogs—and he is not suitable for a household with children. Despite everything he has been through, this old soul still has so much love left to give. He deserves a calm, patient adopter who will help him navigate his world and give him the kindness and stability he’s always deserved. If you have a soft spot for seniors and want to make a true difference for a dog who needs it most, Rooney would love to meet you. Story
Meet Ruby. Ruby is a petite 25-pound pitty mix with a beautiful black coat, white muzzle and chest, and just the right touch of white on her toes. She came to rescue from animal control and has quickly shown what a sweet, gentle soul she is. Ruby loves other dogs and does very well with cats. She enjoys walks, car rides, and is especially fond of sharing ice cream on a warm day. She’s good on a leash, playful, and settles well indoors. Ruby truly shines with women and children, offering affection and trust readily. Ruby can be unsure around some men. She hasn’t shown aggression, but will bark or keep her distance until she feels safe. Her foster is working to understand her triggers, and with patience and kindness, she continues to grow more confident every day. She does not have a mean bone in her body, just a bit of history that requires someone willing to give her understanding and time. She looks bigger in photos than she really is, but her heart certainly makes up the difference. Ruby is about 2–3 years old, well-mannered, and ready for a home where she can be loved and cherished for the gentle, loving dog she is. If you think you could be Ruby’s person, she would love to meet you. Adoption application can be found at this link-https://airtable.com/shrAznkHf1ruIqQwq

Story
Hey there, I'm Pru! I'm a lab/shepherd mix with a heart of gold, and I'm looking for my forever best friend. I'm an energetic and enthusiastic gal, always up for an adventure, whether it's a walk around the block, a car ride, or exploring new places. I'm a bit of a goofball, and I love to play and have fun, but I'm also happy to chill on the couch and snuggle up with my favorite people. I'm quite the social butterfly, and I love meeting new people and making new friends. I'm great with other dogs and cats, too - I've lived with both before. However, I sometimes get a little possessive with my toys around my furry pals and so I will need someone who understands me and can help me work on sharing. I'm looking for someone who loves to be active, explore, and play, but also knows how to relax and cuddle. I want a home where I can be myself, toys and all, and be loved for who I am. I've been waiting for so long, and I'm hoping you'll be the one to give me a forever home. If you're a loving person who wants a loyal companion, I might be the perfect match for you. I'm around 6 years young! Here's a direct link to our dog application— https://airtable.com/shrAznkHf1ruIqQwq
