Story
Hi, my name is Twyla! I am a very sweet and energetic girl! I am still very young and have a lot of spunk! I can be uncomfortable around strangers, so I may need a little time to warm up! I have made a lot of friends at Pawmetto Lifeline, and just need to meet new people slowly! I can be picky about my dog friends, so I also need to meet any other pups you have at home! I`m super smart! I know all basic commands! Children scare me easily, so I`d love to be in a home without any or with older kids who understand my boundaries. My adoption fee is $50 and I will also get a yearly exam and core vaccines for life.If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.

Story
Hi, my name is Keaton! I came back to Pawmetto Lifeline several years after being adopted as a puppy. My previous owners kept me completely outside, where I never met any humans or dogs, so I am not a huge fan of strangers. But once I get to know you, I am the most loving and affectionate dog! The staff here says I am so sweet and goofy. I would make the perfect companion for someone with a quiet home where I can just be myself. I deserve a home that will make me a part of their family forever. Our adoptions are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY Tuesday through Saturday. Please complete an application online and you will be contacted if you are approved and a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.

Story
Hi, my name is Beau! I was adopted as a puppy and returned several years later. When I came back, I had a very hard time trusting people. Pawmetto Lifeline is not sure what happened while I was away, but they vowed to give me as much time as I needed to find a new forever home! I`ve been working really hard on my training and socialization and the staff says I`m doing awesome. I`m a BIG boy- I weigh a whopping 95 pounds! That just means there`s a whole lot of me to love, once we get to know each other. My ideal home would be one with adults who can give me the space and time to get to know them at my pace. A great way to do that would be to play fetch with me! I love to have fun! My favorite things in life are treats and tennis balls! I love nature walks and playing tug too. I prefer you not to touch me unless it is a butt scratch on my terms.I’m a very intelligent boy who is great with a routine. I am beautiful, big and fluffy but I do not like to share my things. If you let me lay on a bed or couch, I will assume that it is all mine and won’t want to share that space. So please make sure and teach me not to get on any furniture so I don’t claim it for myself. If you are interested in adopting me, please be sure you are willing to take the time for us to get to know one another very slowly across a span of time before I would consider going home with you.If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. You are welcome to visit Pawmetto Lifeline from 12-6pm, Tuesday-Friday, to have your application reviewed and to meet your BEST MATCH animal! The Adoptions department is open from 10am-6pm on Saturdays. Meet and greets will end at 5:30pm. We are closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Story
Hi, my name is Cooper!I am a goofy, loving boy looking for my forever home! I have been in the shelter for a while now, but no one can quite understand why. I am very intelligent, cuddly, sweet, and loyal. I do not bark much, but I love to `talk` to my people. My foster mom never understands what I am saying, but I love to make her smile and laugh. I have been abandoned before, so meeting new people can be scary for me. I might bark at new people, but everyone knows that I am just scared. Once you show me love (and some good treats) you will be in my pack for life! I`m a little weary of kids, so I`d love to have a home with none or older kids that can respect my boundaries! I am always excited for an adventure, but I could also happily lay on the couch all day with you. I am highly food-motivated, so training is very easy with me. I am very respectful of rules and boundaries, but I need someone who is going to be respectful of my boundaries too. I am fully house-broken, and can be trusted alone outside of a crate. I would love a forever home with loving people who live a quiet, low-key lifestyle. I need patience with my training and time to allow me to learn how to live a worry-free life. My adoption fee of $50 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! I will also have a free yearly exam and core vaccines for the rest of my life with the Wetness Clinic. What more could you ask for?Our adoptions are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY Tuesday through Saturday. Please complete an application online and you will be contacted if you are approved and a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.
