Story
We adopted Major from a Foster Family. He had been in a shelter for 2 years before being fostered out. He is a large, powerful male. He is extremely protective over his owners. He loves attention . He loves his chest and behind his ears scratched. He is frightened of loud noises and thunder. He is the alpha male when with other dogs. He can be a bully. He does not take well to strangers. He has nipped at visitors as a warning to keep their distance. He loves long walks, listens well to commands. He does not like been taken in any vehicle and does not sleep in a crate. He is house trained and learns very quickly. He nibbles at kibbles throughout the day and enjoys wet food at night. He loves to lie at his owners feet for most of the day but expends a lot of energy when outside. He has the sweetest nature, and enormous cuddle bunny but overly protective and will need to be socialized. He would do well on a farm where his herding instincts can be used.

Story
We adopted Captain from a Foster Family in Trousdale County. He is 2 yrs old, he needs a home where there is plenty affection and lots of belly rubs. He loves outdoors, the elements do not seem to bother him. He sleeps in a crate without hesitation. He takes instruction well and is quick to learn new lessons. He is house trained, knows 'sit', 'stay', 'come', 'heel', 'treat', 'sleep' and 'bed'. He nibbles on kibbles throughout the day, with wet food at night. He loves chasing up and down the fence line when deliveries or mail arrive. He barks excitedly at turkeys, deer and squirrels. He is very chatty (barks a lot) and he has a humane collar to curb his barking. He wears it in early morning when he is let out and it's removed at noon when all deliveries have been made. He needs free reign to move in and out the house. He has a tendency to dig holes and can be and escape artist. He is a pleasure to have around.

Story
SO MANY VIDEOS OF HER AND BERNIE PLAYING.... PER REQUEST. CANT POST HERE THE VIDS. ********* HARTSVILLE, TN - Free to a loving amazing qualified home. Transport available within reason. MONNIE "MO" - On 08-07-25 this poor girl was tied to a tree with a collar, leash and matching harness, sad, confused and very hot!!!!! She was abandoned, tied to the tree on a road going towards shelter. Shocked and saddened, the staff got her off the tree and into the air conditioning. She took immediately to the shelter manager but was at first frightened of the rest of the staff but now is safe and so happy and jolly and wants attention and love. No one claimed her while on hold. She has been blossoming everyday. She hated getting all her vaxes and heartworm meds etc. but it was during the 1st few hours of having her. She is spayed and very healthy. Mo is ALL PUPPY 🙂 MO IS SPAYED, APPROX 14 months old, UTD. Monnie has been tested with all the staff member and loves everyone. She is dying for a new family. She has been tested with cats and a very high energy dog... and was great!!!! She knows how to sit. She loves everyone. She has shown no aggression to any of the dogs. Just happy to be alive and paid attention to. She will make any family very very happy. She was afraid of men at first, but living for weeks on the farm and at the grooming shop and meeting loads of folks including men, in the lobby throughout the day, she has been fantastic.
