Story
Hi! I'm Jovie, I'm a 3 year old Greek hare hound. My birthday is April 22. I love cuddling and chewing bones. Belly rubs are my absolute favorite thing in the whole world! I get very attached to my person and would love to spend every second of the day by their side. I'm pretty hesitant around people I don't see every day and would rather have my own safe space when visitors are over. Children make me especially nervous and I would rather not have to interact with them. I have trouble making friends with other dogs, sometimes it works and other times I get overwhelmed and lash out, but I don't mean to. I love every one, I just need more time than others to adjust. I'm super playful and love running forever. I'll accompany you on all your walks as long as it's in a quiet area. I am very talkative and will serenade you in the mornings with the screams of my people. My favorite way to show you what I want is by dragging your arm or throwing my empty bowl. I can't wait to meet you! :D

Story
Hi, my name is Ruger. I am 4yrs old. I am a Pitbull mix. I was adopted from Animal Allies Rescue Foundation (AARF) when I was 14wks old. I am house broken and spend most my days inside laying around sleeping. I do enjoy the outside but you have to limit me in hot weather because of my white coat, I can get sunburnt and allergies. I love to cuddle and give kisses. I love to play but am overall very chill and lazy. I have two other dogs I live with, which I enjoy playing and cuddling with. Looking for a home with someone who has no young children under 3yrs old because I am timid of little kids and can make me very anxious. Wanting a home that I can stay inside and cuddle with my owner or lounge around when they are gone.

Story
Hazel came to me as a foster but I fell in love. She is extremely sweet, goofy, and loving. But given her very abusive past, Hazel is very nervous around new people. Food is the key to her heart and quickly trust with lots of treats and affection. Hazel weighs about 40 lbs She's lived with random foster dogs and cats and always has done very well. She is extremely easy to redirect and has a strong desire to people-please. She's a gorgeous pup!

Hi there, this is Diesel. He was born on November 17th, 2020. He has been with me since he was a baby puppy. He lose to swim, play fetch, get cuddles, belly rubs. He also loves his little brother Mochi, which is a small Japanese spitz, however my roommate has a big pitbull and it attacked him, so I just don’t want him hurt. He has been my best friend for almost 4 years so it breaks my heart to have to rehome him. But I want what’s best and safe for him.

Story
Milo, a gentle hound mix with captivating garnet-colored eyes, began his journey at New Leash on Life as a vivacious four-month-old puppy in May 2021. Originally named Noel, his world changed when a loving family adopted him, changing his name to Milo. They quickly introduced him to the joys of companionship. Life with Milo was a picture of happiness until shifts in the family's circumstances meant they could no longer provide Milo the attention and care he deserved. Regrettably, they returned him to New Leash on Life, knowing we would help him find a forever home. Approaching three years old now, Milo exudes warmth, boasting a sleek black and brown coat that accentuates his endearing personality. Despite his past, Milo remains a sweet and affectionate boy yearning for a second chance at love and stability. He's received comprehensive care, having been neutered, microchipped, and kept up-to-date with vaccines. Moreover, Milo has been safeguarded against fleas, ticks, and heartworms, ensuring his well-being for his future family. For a modest adoption fee of $75, Milo eagerly awaits the opportunity to enrich someone's life with his unwavering loyalty and boundless affection-a loyal companion ready to find his forever home once again. **All New Leash on Life dogs must be adopted to families willing to have their pets be allowed inside - especially at night.
