Story
Meet Peanut - of the Peanut, Butter & Jelly Litter! These three adorable pups are about 12 weeks old and ready to find their families. They were running loose in the country and were difficult to catch. They were all shy and skittish so apparently not had much handling by people. not normal for a young puppy. Peanut was the most nervous and hard to catch, so it took 2 more days to get him to us. Bless the wonderful, dedicated people who worked so hard to help these pups and then get them to a rescue. We've given P B & J a couple of weeks to decompress, get cleaned up, gain some weight, and learn that people are good. They didn't even seem to know how to play and didn't care much to be outdoors, which is unusual for the breed mix we believe them to be. But really not surprising if they were alone outdoors in all that horrible heat and storms we were having. These past few days they have turned the corner -- with the introduction of another puppy, a happy-go-lucky girl who knows all about how to be a puppy and to have a good time, and within a day she was helping these puppies to learn how too. It's been wonderful to watch them blossom. Because they are a little shy and already pretty big for a puppy, they probably would do best with children over 5. We cannot call them house-trained, but they do use a doggy door regularly so have the concept of pottying outside. They like other dogs and, as puppies, we think they would be fine with cats as well. Their finders believe from where they were at and what they look like that they are Great Pyrenees mix. As they've grown and changed with us, it looks to us like they may have Anatolian Shepherd in them. We googled Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees puppies and came up with multiple images that look very similar to them. If our breed mix guess is correct, then we would assume they will be large adult dogs maybe 60-80 lbs? If you think you might want to give this sweet pup a home, please email jojosdogrescue@gmail.com and we will send you an application, or visit our website: www.jojosdoghouse.com and download one. Adoption fee is $250, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, parasite treatment, and microchip with lifetime registration. Please visit our Facebook page JoJo's DogHouse (non-profit) to learn more about us and see many of the dogs we have rescued. We hope you'll join JoJo's family of adopters!

IDGSR Welcomes SUNNY into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE AND AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** Hiya Friends! My name is Sunny and I'm adorable 5-6 month old male Cattle Dog/Lab mix. I am located in Greeneville TN and will be available for transport. Quick Facts Age: 5-6 months old Kids: will do great with kids Dogs: will do great with other dogs Cats: will do fine with cats Training: needs full obedience training 1. My siblings and I were dumped on a rural road left to fend for ourselves and suffer. Thankfully someone kind picked us up and brought us to the best rescue. 2. My mix breed is a mystery! I have some Shepherd-like features but a smaller body and a little wiggly nub tail. Wouldn't it be so cool to do a DNA test and see what I'm mixed with? 3. I'm just a baby and know nothing, nada, not one ounce of civilized doggy behavior. I need a patient adopter to teach me house & crate training and eventually give me a PHD in obedience skills. 4. I will get along with anyone and everyone. If you have kids, dogs, cats, turtles, chickens, or a crabby neighbor, my good looks & fun-loving personality will make every heart melt! 5. If you are ready to commit to 10-15yrs of love, laughter, puppy kisses, the occasional muddy floor, loyalty, and adventure - I'm your guy! **SERIOUS APPLICANTS ONLY! Story
My ex-wife adopted our dog as a “COVID puppy,” and after our recent divorce, I became responsible for him. Unfortunately, my current housing situation and lifestyle are not a good fit for his needs. He deserves a home with the space, time, and environment necessary for him to thrive, and I’m making this decision with his best interests in mind. His best home would be as an only dog with an active adult/young adult.

Story
IDGSR Welcomes NOVA into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE AND AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** Hiya Friends! My name is Nova and I'm a sweet 4-6yr old female Shepherd mix gal. I am located in Greeneville TN and will be available for transport. Quick Facts: Age - 4-6yrs old Kids - will do fine with older kids (10+) Dogs - good with large male dogs Cats - NO cats Training - needs standard obedience training 1. My story is pretty sad. I was chained to a tree with no interaction and used for breeding. I had my last litter of puppies (all have been adopted) and now it's my turn! 2. My foster mom estimates my age to be about 4-6yrs old. We aren't quite sure but because of my hard upbringing, I have a little more gray on my face. 3. I enjoy taking walks, exploring in the backyard, playing with other large breed dogs, and resting with my foster mom. I'm house & kennel trained even tho I don't need to be in one! 4. I would love to find a person/family who will take me on walks, tell me I'm the bestest girl in the world, and show me what a loving family really is. 5. If you are looking for a resilient, loving, friendly, sweet, and loyal new companion - I'm your girl! **SERIOUS APPLICANTS ONLY!
