Story
Hello, friends! My name is Rudie. I am a sweet, intelligent girl who loves love! My rescuers call me the "perfect dog because I am gentle with humans and great with other dogs, too! My favorite hobbies are: hiking, playing, and snuggling. As mentioned, hanging out with other dogs makes me super happy, so I'd love to be adopted by a family with another pup in the home, especially if they're able to show me the ropes and teach me the ways of my new family. I'm a fast learner and always up for an adventure (as long as I get lots of cuddles when we get home). Adopt me- you won't regret it! Where I Came From: I was recently rescued from a horrible situation. I was a stray on the streets in Mexico, but then I was picked up and placed in the shelter. To me, it was scarier than being on the streets. One day, someone came to my kennel, put a leash around my neck, and I was taken away. I thought I was free! Unfortunately, my story only gets harder to tell. I was taken to a medical facility where horrible tests were done to me. No one had ever loved me before, but no one had ever hurt me like that. Finally, BFP came and really, truly saved me! I've been at the vet getting all the care I need to be ready to go to a loving foster home. I have learned I can trust people and am ready for the embrace of a family! Story
Hi, everypawdy! My name is Grace. I'm a beautiful, loving soul who is looking for a family to call my own. Walks, runs, and hikes are a few of my favorite hobbies. Attention and being pet are necessities as well, of course! A good cuddle at the end of a long day will fill me with joy. My foster family says I'm smart as a whip...I already know how to sit, heel, halt, and more! A good treat and some cuddles are enough to motivate to learn like a pro. I love being near my favorite humans, and playing with my favorite toys. If you want a reason to smile every single day, then I am the pup for your family. Story
Poppy is a stunning, 8.5yr old beagle girl. This lovely senior is a total sweetheart, despite suffering years of abuse in an animal testing laboratory. Poppy is the perfect little companion for any individual or family! Poppy loves to go on walks, spend time around other dogs, and sniff around the yard (in true beagle fashion), but more than anything... Poppy loves to be near her people! She's great with kids, too! Poppy has received an A+ in couch snuggles. Poppy has been learning lots from her two foster siblings and, while she hasn't initiated play with them yet, they have given her a lot of confidence. She would love a home that could provide her with both exercise and lots of laid-back cuddle time together. Poppy is also cat approved! If you are interested in adopting Poppy, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/rescue/ and email us with questions: adopt@bfp.org. Location: Houston, TX

Story
True to my name, I like to always know whats going on and be a part of the fun. I like to show my friends that I enjoy being the center of attention and will playfully remind them that I am "The Chief ". I love to play and take every chance I get to get my exercise playing chase around the yard with my brothers. I love belly rubs and all the attention I can get. My favorite things are playing with and smelling other nice dogs, running around the yard, and letting everyone know when it's time to get up for the day. I have lots of energy but I also enjoy a good nap so I can rest up to play some more.
