Story
Have you ever wanted a companion, that will walk with you, see you as her one and only and give hugs, any chance she gets? Meet Izzy 🐕 She absolutely loves being outdoors and exploring. She would fit well with a family with a big yard to check out or an active family that loves cardio/hiking. Izzy is very active and high energy but also loves to relax. She loves sitting in the kitchen while her foster Mom cooks her meals and sun baths by the French doors mid day. She is leash trained, potty trained (schedule must be consistent) and knows basic commands.. she will do anything for a cookie 🙂 Izzy gets along with chickens, ducks and other fur pups, but she does not favor cats. Izzy is 2.5 years old, up to date on all vaccinations, negative HW and on prevention. This sweet Mama, will steal your heart ❤️ If Izzy sounds perfect for your family, please fill out our application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to her new furever family.

Story
Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Adams, TN Tucker is a 1 year old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix and weighs around 30 lbs. He is neutered and up to date on shots, but isn’t on heartworm prevention. Tucker is good with kids! He hasn’t been tested around cats. He hasn’t been socialized much, so he gets excited/nervous around other dogs. He is crate-trained but isn’t housebroken. The owner is surrendering him because her son is highly allergic. He needs to go ASAP! If you think you can provide a great home for Tucker, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $100 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Tucker. Owner’s Contact Information: Katie Mayberry at (480) 377-8183 or katiemayberrykm@yahoo.com.

Story
ELLIOT (TENNESSEE) Elliot is a 10 year old 17lb yorkie mix boy who is being fostered near Ashland City, TN. Elliot is one of the most sweetest and smartest dogs around. He is a very chill guy and enjoys spending his days lounging around and being petted. He came into rescue with his brother who has been adopted but Elliot hasn’t found his “Forever Home” yet. Elliot is diagnosed with being on the verge of “Cushings Disease” which can be managed with medication. As of right now he doesn’t have it but all signs of aging is leaning towards this disease. He does have a thyroid issue which is being managed with medication and he is taking a medication for his gallbladder. He takes his medication easily with food and both medications are affordable. Elliot is a beautiful doggie with lots of love and life to give who truly deserves a home of his own. He is not much for going on walks but will go potty outside in a fenced yard and will also use wee wee pads in the house. He does drink lots of water and he will wear a belly band. Elliot rides well in a car and he loves to sleep right beside his person at night. Elliot would make someone a great companion he just needs some continued medical care to life his best life. Please fill out an application for this sweetheart if your interested or donate to his care at www.uyr.us or email foster mom with any questions at mandymsmith1@yahoo.com.

Good with kids, Needs special attention, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Sweet, energetic, Jupiter is ready for adoption. She is a special needs girl who will need continued medical care. When she came to the rescue she had virtually no hair due to Demodex Mange, Heart worm positive, and a severe eye infection caused by Entropion (which is when the eyelids roll inward and the eye lashes are constantly rubbing the eye). She has been treated for mange, been spayed, and has had multiple surgeries to fix her eyes. We do not know if her hair will ever fully come back. She is receiving treatment for heart worms. She will need to continued treatment with eye medication due to now having dry eye. We have also discovered that she suffers from allergies. This will require continued allergy injections, RX food, and regular vet visits for skin issues. We know its a lot, but we simply can't give up on her. She does well with some dogs,, but would love to be spoiled and live her life as an only pet. She does great with the 3yr old in her foster home.
