Story
Erus is a Pure breed American Akita. He’s 2 years old he’s very friendly with kids and adults. Has t really had any encounter with cats yet. He’s very playful and a goof ball. I am needing a home for him because of my busy schedule. I travel for work and barely home. I travel all week I leave Monday and return Friday. I have tried all options and I am drained financially due to getting sitters all the time. Hoping to find him a home soon

Story
Roxy was found in our back pasture during a cold freeze. Someone abandoned her and we rescued her from the cold weather as a puppy. We have cared for her in the time being, but we are very busy with our kids and out of town a lot on weekends. She is spayed, up to date on all shots, and currently only flea/tick/worm medicine(will send proof). She is full of energy and loves to play with other dogs. She has been around kids from infant- below 10 years old and loves to play with them. She needs someone to be able to give her attention and loves to go on walks. Since she was abandoned, vet estimated her age to be around 8 weeks when we found her, she is currently almost 1 years old. We will offer a full bag of dog food, dog pen, along with a dog orthopedic bed if interested. Thanks.

Story
Jessica has been with us for for 3 months and she's "finally" coming into her own. She was a diligent momma, always putting her babies first, but now she's earned her own time. Jessica now gets on the kennel couch with me, paws me for pets (we're working on that), and is ready for a family of her own. If I said she was the best dog I've ever had, it would be an understatement. She has NEVER had ana accident in the house. She knows basic commands or figures them out quickly. She likes to play with all size dogs without it ever getting too rough, and she de-escalates situations easily. The only downside to Jessica is that she wants/needs a larger area to patrol. She is a border collie and likes to patrol the border. Could she be an apartment dog? Probably not, unless you are committed to outdoor exercise with her. It's not a constant need for exercise but she does like to use her brain and instincts. Someone with a decent sized yard needs to give this girl a chance to make them as happy as she's made us. Story
Meet Marge a very sweet black, brindle and white collie mix. Marge, like her Simpson namesake, is definitely the leader of this little pack. She is spirited and adventurous and will be a wonderful companion. Marge has recently become SUPER cuddly, and really enjoys a good belly rub. Her parents were left behind when their owners moved, and she was born under the neighbor's shed. The family was rescued when the puppies were just a few days old. The kids are healthy, fat and happy and are ready for their own forever home. Adoption fee includes future spay.

Story
This is Oliver - or sometimes Ollie - and he has made a miraculous transformation since being rescued from the side of I-45. His once coarse hair is now a beautifully soft golden fur. At a year old, he is full grown and is weighing in at about 50 lbs. One of Oliver’s siblings was DNA tested and came back 67% Great Pyrenees and 33% German Shepherd so we’re going with that - he’s got a curl to his tail but no double dew claws. Ollie is simply a love bug who wants nothing more than to be loved. See more pics at www.flyingbrescue.org/adopt

Story
Bella is a sweet old girl at 11 years old. Her owner passed away and our local social services team reached out for help. We couldn't say no. Bella is enjoying a quiet life with us; she's healing from loss and some health issues are being addressed. But she's affectionate and loves to sit in our laps. Talk about an easy dog. If you love seniors, she may be the gal for you. As part of our Senior Sanctuary, we will care for her until she finds a forever foster to live our her life.
