Story
This is Maple. She (as far as we know) is part Labrador part Catahoula. We urgently need to rehome her because we are noticing as our toddler became mobile she’s becoming more anxious around her. She growls and runs from her whenever our kid crawls near her. Over the weekend she snapped at another toddler and we’re now concerned for our child as she becomes more mobile. She needs a home without young children where she has plenty of love and attention. She loves to cuddle and receive love. She also loves playing with other dogs once she gets to know them. Can be skiddish at first but quickly warms up and is very sweet with adults. She has been crate trained and potty trained the whole time we’ve had her. Knows commands sit and lay down. She is about 8 months old. We’ve had her since she was 4 months old. Breeder gave her her shots but we have no records. Comes with crate, and food and a bed, she has a strong stomach so switching foods would not be difficult

Story
Chief is one amazing dog, with a fluffy face, and a beautiful set of colors. His name extremely fits him, considering that the Alaskan malamutes are a large breed of dog that are used for strength and endurance, they were also used as sled dogs to pull heavy sleds. If you're in need of a fluffy cuddle buddy, then Chief is just for you! Alaskan malamutes are EXTREMELY fluffy, but be warned, they are extreme shedders. They shed consistently throughout the year, and they have a heavier shedding period twice during the year. Alaskan malamutes aren't known for barking too much, but they do enjoy stretching their vocal cords, and also howling at times. According to the article "Dogtime," Alaskan malamutes usually get to be 75-100 lbs, and up to 2 feet tall. They usually live 12-15 years, which is perfect for a child to grow up with!An Alaskan malamute would be a perfect dog for you if you're in need of a big, fluffy, cuddle buddy, if you don't mind the shedding, if you are looking for a strong protective dog, and if you are looking for an entertaining and beautiful breed!
