Story
Leo is a 5-year-old Border Collie/Poodle mix weighing about 55 lbs. He is neutered, house trained, and fully vaccinated. Leo is active and enjoys walks, playtime, and being outdoors, but he is also very calm and well-behaved inside the house. He does great with kids and other dogs and has a very friendly personality. We are looking for a loving home that has the time and attention he deserves. He would do best with a couple or family that can give him regular exercise, companionship, and interaction since he is a smart and active breed mix. This has been a difficult decision, but with our current schedule we no longer have enough time for him. We want to make sure he goes to a home where he will be happy, active, and well cared for. Leo is affectionate, loyal, gentle indoors, and loves being around people.

Story
She was abandoned on the side of the highway 60 mi away from any town. She was caught by somebody from out of state who could not take her. So I went and got her. She's very loving, very sweet ,gets along great with other dogs , knows how to use a doggie door , is housebroken. She loves attention, she loves cuddles, she loves to play. I'd keep her for myself but she's just too big for me I have two small dogs and I'm gone a lot. But she is an amazing good dog I just can't believe somebody would just abandon her. She's two years old so yeah she still needs some training. She likes to jump up but not knock you over. I'm working on that with her.

Story
Senior dogs like Venus are true gifts, offering a lifetime of love in their golden years. Venus is an exceptional senior canine with a heart of gold and a brave, adventurous spirit. She is an incredibly smart and athletic dog who embraces each day with enthusiasm and joy. Venus loves exploring new paths and embracing new experiences, always eager to take on the world by your side. With her intelligence and willingness to please, she is eager to learn and create lasting memories with you. She has an over-eager demeanor in her kennel, which can be a bit overwhelming if you don`t know her, but she is always ready to make new friends and is so excited to explore the outdoors. She has done well with the dogs she has met here at the shelter, but be sure to bring any paw-tential future doggy siblings to meet her before you take her home!

Story
Lil One is a big-hearted, happy guy who just wants to be close to his people. He’s strong and sturdy, but in his mind he’s absolutely a lap dog, and he’ll happily prove it by climbing up for snuggles whenever he gets the chance. He’s affectionate, playful, and full of personality. When he’s excited or especially happy, you’ll hear those classic pitty squeals that make it impossible not to smile. He truly enjoys being part of whatever you’re doing, whether that’s relaxing on the couch or tossing a toy around in the yard. Lil One loves toys and playtime, and from what we’ve seen, he does great with other dogs. He has a fun, easygoing nature and seems to take life as it comes. He bonds deeply with his people. In his previous home, when his owner passed away, Lil One stayed right by his side until the very end, a true testament to how loyal and devoted he is. He’s ready to give that same unconditional love to a new family who will cherish him just as much.
