My wife adopted Fergus 6 years ago as a puppy just before we were married. As our family has grown and our lifestyle evolves, it’s become difficult to keep up with this big hairy boy’s needs in our tight fitting home.He’s truly an amazing animal and companion. Very loving, affectionate, and cuddly. His biggest frustration for us lately is getting into the trash or eating off the table if we leave things out while gone. That, combined with coat/shedding maintenance and religious vacuuming has added to much to our very full plates.He will thrive in an environment with lots of attention, affection, space to play, kids or other dogs, and a very routine grooming schedule.

Story

We found Zoey abandoned in Houston. We went through the process of finding her home and decided to foster her until we found her a proper home. My kids fell in love with her so we held off and brought her on our move to Utah. Zoey had heart worms when we got her and we put her through treatment, she is a year free of heart worms! Due to her time on the streets Zoey is reactive towards other dogs. We have another pit that she did get along with but taking her on walks around other dogs is challenging. She does good with our kids however she is very vocal and doesn’t like to be touched when she’s being a couch potato. We are pregnant and this new addition has pushed us to move forward with finding Zoey a home as we originally planned. She is a sweet heart and you would absolutely love her!

Livvy's bloodwork results showed "super mutt". She was originally a rescue from California as a baby, and we have had her now for almost 4 years. She is the sweetest, happiest, most playful dog, fully house trained. She has never chewed furniture or shoes or anything like that. She LOVES kids. We have a cat and chickens, and she does fine around them. The chickens wander the yard, and Livvy has never bothered them. She does great on a leash and knows basic commands "sit" and "shake". She can get weird with other dogs if they get into her personal space. She's never hurt another dog, but she might growl a little. However, I've never had issues with other dogs when she's on leash. She just keeps walking. She loves to go for walks. She likes to protect my kids. If they go to the playground while we're walking, she will want to be near the kids. Or if we're going for a walk in the kids fall too far behind or too far ahead, Livvy will start to worry and wait for them.
