Story
Shadow is a loyal, loving 3-year-old boy looking for the right forever home. He forms strong bonds with his people and is very devoted to the humans he trusts. He can be cautious when meeting new people and will need a little time and patience to adjust, but once he gets to know you, he's incredibly affectionate and protective of his family. He **does not get along well with other dogs**, so he needs to be the only dog in the home. He would do best in a **quiet home with no children and few people**, where he can feel secure and build trust at his own pace. Because of his protective nature, an experienced owner who understands dogs that need slower introductions and a calm, structured environment would be the best fit. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, and we're committed to finding him a home where he'll be safe, understood, and loved. He has so much love and loyalty to give the right person.

Story
Meet the Big Hunk a sweet treat little treat from the Candy Bar Litter! This adorable pup and four siblings came into the world with a tough start — their brave mama was tragically hit by a car. Thankfully, a kind-hearted Good Samaritan found the babies and made sure they were safe. From there, they made the journey from New Mexico to Utah in search of loving forever homes. Big Hunk may have had a rough start in life but you’d never know it by that happy tail and gentle spirit. He’s full of puppy joy — belly rubs, zoomies, and snuggles are his specialties. Like all young pups, he’s learning the ropes of life, and his wonderful foster family is helping him discover just how amazing people can be. He’s wiggly, sweet, and adores attention — the kind of puppy who melts into your arms and makes every day brighter. While we’re still waiting for her Embark DNA results (thanks to our friends at Ollie Pet Food!), we already know one thing for sure: he is 100% delightful. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion to fill your home with joy, laughter, and puppy kisses, this Big Hunk may be your perfect match. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 4:10 pm

Story
Meet Mama Zena — The Playful, Loving Shepherd Mix Zena is a gorgeous 1–2 year old shepherd mix, weighing about 45 lbs, with a heart as big as her energy. She is smart, eager to please, and already has some great basics down — she’s potty trained, leash trained, knows “sit” and “lay down,” and has excellent recall. This fun-loving girl is all about fetch, squeaky toys, and anything that bounces. After a good play session, she turns into a total snuggle bug who wants nothing more than to curl up with her humans. Zena is currently in foster care with one of her daughters and a senior dog, and she plays beautifully with both. She has shown a little bit of resource guarding, but with consistency, structure, and reassurance, she continues to improve every day. Zena would thrive in an active home that’s ready for adventure, training, and lots of love. She’s sweet, smart, and so ready for her forever family. If you're looking for a playful companion with a loyal heart, Mama Zena is your girl.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 4:10 pm

MEET MILO – READY FOR HIS FUREVER HOME! Looking for a loyal, fun-loving best friend? Milo might just be your perfect match! Milo is a sweet boy who has settled beautifully into foster care and is ready to find a family of his own. Milo was saved by his wonderful foster family within days of a due out date in the shelter About Milo: Potty trained (only one accident on his first day in foster!) Kennel trained, but happily sleeps on his dog bed all night. Excellent on a leash—he walks right by your side and doesn't pull. Knows basic commands like Sit, Stay, and Bed, and is eager to keep learning. Loves to play but is just as happy curling up next to you for cuddles and relaxing. Great with people and has done well around children. He gets very excited when meeting new friends, so he's continuing to work on keeping all four paws on the ground. Once he settles in, he's a wonderful companion! Friendly and affectionate with his people. Milo would do best in a home without cats, as he becomes very vocal and reactive when he sees them. Milo is a smart, loving dog who will thrive with a family willing to continue his training and help build on the great progress he's already made. His goofy personality, affectionate nature, and eagerness to be with his people make him a joy to have around.
