Story
Meet Mama Zena — The Playful, Loving Shepherd Mix Zena is a gorgeous 1–2 year old shepherd mix, weighing about 45 lbs, with a heart as big as her energy. She is smart, eager to please, and already has some great basics down — she’s potty trained, leash trained, knows “sit” and “lay down,” and has excellent recall. This fun-loving girl is all about fetch, squeaky toys, and anything that bounces. After a good play session, she turns into a total snuggle bug who wants nothing more than to curl up with her humans. Zena is currently in foster care with one of her daughters and a senior dog, and she plays beautifully with both. She has shown a little bit of resource guarding, but with consistency, structure, and reassurance, she continues to improve every day. Zena would thrive in an active home that’s ready for adventure, training, and lots of love. She’s sweet, smart, and so ready for her forever family. If you're looking for a playful companion with a loyal heart, Mama Zena is your girl.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 15, 2025, 1:11 pm

Story
Meet Gabe – a tiny guy with a BIG personality! Gabe is a 7-year-old Chihuahua who weighs in at a whopping 6 pounds… but please don’t tell him that, because in his mind he’s basically a lion. He is the perfect combo of spicy + sweet — a confident little man who knows what he wants, but also loves his people and enjoys being part of the action. Gabe is great with other dogs, enjoys meeting new friends, and is happiest when he can soak up the sunshine with a good sunbathing session (his favorite hobby!). &#226&#152&#128&#239&#184&#143 &#226&#156&#133 Fully vetted &#226&#156&#133 Healthy & thriving &#226&#156&#133 Loves people &#226&#156&#133 Good with other dogs And while Gabe is 7 years old, don’t let that number fool you — that’s not old for a Chihuahua! He still has plenty of pep, personality, and love to give. If you’re looking for a fun-sized best friend with a big heart and a little sass, Gabe is your guy! Story
&#226&#156&#168 Meet Mama Nevaeh &#226&#156&#168 Just like her name says, this girl is pure heaven! Nevaeh’s story started on the streets of New Mexico, where she was found with her eight puppies. She’s been such a devoted mama, and now that her pups are all settling into their forever homes, it’s her turn to be loved and spoiled. This gorgeous German Shepherd has already been spayed, is up to date on vaccines (including rabies), and is microchipped—so she’s all set and ready to meet her forever family! What makes Nevaeh extra special: She LOVES kids—they’re truly her favorite. She’s a total cuddle bug and will happily curl up on the bed with you for snuggles. She does great with other dogs and is even doing well with chickens and goats! As a German Shepherd, she’ll need a yard to stretch her legs and a family who enjoys keeping her active. Nevaeh is the perfect mix of loyal, playful, and loving—she’s ready to be your best friend, your snuggle buddy, and your forever girl. Don’t wait! Fill out an application today and make Mama Nevaeh part of your family.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 4, 2026, 11:10 am

Story
Meet the Big Hunk a sweet treat little treat from the Candy Bar Litter! This adorable pup and four siblings came into the world with a tough start — their brave mama was tragically hit by a car. Thankfully, a kind-hearted Good Samaritan found the babies and made sure they were safe. From there, they made the journey from New Mexico to Utah in search of loving forever homes. Big Hunk may have had a rough start in life but you’d never know it by that happy tail and gentle spirit. He’s full of puppy joy — belly rubs, zoomies, and snuggles are his specialties. Like all young pups, he’s learning the ropes of life, and his wonderful foster family is helping him discover just how amazing people can be. He’s wiggly, sweet, and adores attention — the kind of puppy who melts into your arms and makes every day brighter. While we’re still waiting for her Embark DNA results (thanks to our friends at Ollie Pet Food!), we already know one thing for sure: he is 100% delightful. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion to fill your home with joy, laughter, and puppy kisses, this Big Hunk may be your perfect match. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 4, 2026, 8:24 pm

Story
Meet Chewie — Our Little Bear Cub Looking for His Forever Home This sweet boy is Chewie, named for his uncanny resemblance to Chewbacca — though around here, we lovingly call him our little bear cub. At just 2 years old, this sweet boy has already been through more than most dogs should ever experience. He was saved from a rural shelter just days before euthanasia, and we are so grateful he was given the chance he deserved. Chewie can be shy when meeting new people, but with a little love and patience, he quickly becomes your fluffy little shadow. He is calm, sweet, and incredibly gentle — a true old soul in a young body. He’s the perfect lap dog who’s happiest basking in the sun or curled up beside you. Chewie at a Glance: • 2-year-old Aussie/Collie mix • Neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped • Potty trained and very well mannered • Walks beautifully on leash • Calm, quiet, and affectionate • Great with kids & other dogs Chewie gets along well with other dogs but prefers not to play — he becomes scared if chased and would do best with mellow canine companions or as an only dog. He has not been cat tested, but due to his history of chasing chickens as a stray, a home without cats or small livestock would be the safest fit. Chewie would thrive in a calm, loving home where he can spend his days snuggling, sunbathing, and being quietly adored. Chewie will be available for adoption on February 12th — just in time to be your perfect Valentine’s date!
