Story
Unfortunately, we need to rehome our first generation Labradoodle, Blue. He is a large dog, weighing about 70 pounds. He is very sweet with our family, an excellent companion on walks or runs, and well trained, so smart, and always lets you know when he needs to go out, but sadly, he does not do well around unfamiliar children sometimes, and while playing with a friend in our home, he bit or scratched the child in the face. We promised the family of the child that we would try to rehome Blue or work on some serious training with him. With the busy schedule of our family, that is not a possibility at this time. This was the first time anything like this has happened, but he can be territorial around unfamiliar people. We are searching for a home where he can thrive, preferably no children. He is still fairly young, his birthday is May 12 and he will be three.

Story
Ghazni was an Afghanistan veteran's dog that he had originally obtained as a possible therapy dog, but things did not work out with his schedule and he was unable to keep her. I was asked to take care of her; however I have two other dogs and they have been fighting quite a bit. There have been injuries between the dogs and I am afraid they will harm themselves worse if they have to stay together. She is approximately 3 years old and is very sweet with my vhildren and has a great disposition. She needs a forever safe home.

Story
We got Mouse from a lady in a parking lot. When we brought her home we realized that while she has the potential to become a good family dog I don't have the time to train her. She is a cattle dog and has what seems like an endless supply of energy. I would really appreciate it if anyone considering adopting her would keep this in mind. She could run for hours if your a runner or bicyclist ( I have not trained her in this). I want her to go to a home were her mind and body won't be wasted. The price is negotiable.

Story
Hello! My name is Winston, or Sneep-Snop, or Wolf-Butt... I answer to many names. I LOVE chasing soccer/tennis balls, and swimming after sticks. I go after stuff in the water all year around, so make sure to bring towels in the winter! I do best off-leash, as it allows me to investigate people and dogs alike at my own pace. I don’t generally go out of my way to socialize. I’m a working breed and just want to chase the ball as long as possible. I have a really impressive bark! Unfortunately, I’m a scaredy-cat, and may bark/lunge if I’m on leash and something startles me. I’m also a bit of a leash puller, but pretty responsive to treats. My people love me so much, but believe I would be my best self with more running space than they can give me. I need to be with active people. After I run off my energy you’ll find me chilling on the couch. Night time? I’ll remind you it’s time to come to bed and settle in for cuddles. I take a few visits to warm up, but I’m absolutely worth it!!!

Story
Romeo is 4 years old, he is a German Shepard mix (part heeler), he has lived with another dog (a lab around 1 yr old) and did well with her. We have had him for a few months, he previously lived with my parents who could not longer take care of him. He does very well home alone for a long time, but takes a little bit to get used to new people and places. He very rarely barks, he is trained to walk well on a leash and does not have any trouble with chewing or other destructive habits. We unfortunately have to rehome him as we are moving to an apartment that does not allow pets and my husband is badly allergic. He is very playful but is used to sleeping for a large majority of the day, so it is not a problem to leave him home for long periods of time (~8hrs). He really is a very good boy, we hope he finds a good home.
