Story
Cuda — 3–4 yrs, 8.8 lbs Cuda has a heart that is enormous. He came in shy, unsure, and carrying the weight of being overlooked. With kindness, he blossoms—leaning in, seeking comfort, and offering quiet affection. Cuda is a soft, sensitive boy who wants a calm home where he can feel safe and loved. He’s the kind of dog who will give his whole heart once he trusts you. For Western WA adopters: We will be meeting approved adopters in Ellensburg within the next 1–2 weeks. If you are unable to travel east, we will do our best to coordinate a volunteer hand‑off closer to your area. For Eastern WA adopters: Approved adopters may meet in either the Moses Lake or Omak area. If you’re looking for a tender‑hearted pup to love and guide, this dog is ready to meet you. Story
He is a Maltipoo born in 2019. He has been raised in a family environment and is familiar with kids and other pets. While he does well around children, he would be best suited for a home with older children or adults. Loves to sit and be petted. He is well-groomed and used to regular professional grooming, and he is up to date on all vaccinations. He has a gentle, affectionate personality and enjoys companionship, routine, and a calmer home environment. He would be a great match for an older couple or an individual looking for a loyal, low-shedding companion who is already past the puppy stage.

Story
Born in boarding when mom left behind. The only female born. Looking for a forever home. Mom looks to be an irish wolfhound mix. We don't know the mix of the pups since we don't know who dad was, but she has more of a lab or boxador mix look than irish wolfhound. Born 10/10/24. She met kids and adored them. She can seem a bit more cautious than her brothers but will make agreat family dog. Two Photos of Onyx courtesy of Turning Point Photography

Story
Buster is the happiest guy, looking for a wonderful home. Buster is good with new people, has been good around the few small children he's met, and enjoys training and being told he is a good boy. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and fully vetted - ready for his new home! He walks well on a leash, and enjoys going on little adventures with his people, or just snuggling and cuddling. This handsome boy would also love a wonderful foster home, where he can have more of the love and attention he enjoys so much! Please message us with any questions.

Story
Cheyenne is a beautiful, elegant, soft, and mildly shy little girl who was dumped in the wilderness to fend for herself, and is suspected to be related to Shadow, an Australian Shepherd/Husky mix taken in from a neglectful situation. Cheyenne is estimated to be about a year old. She is a little shy when meeting new people, but once she gets comfortable, she has been great with the adults, children, and other dogs she's met. Cheyenne is still in the process of completing her veterinary (she needs her spay and rabies still), and will be fully adoptable when that is completed. In the meantime, we would love to find a foster or foster-to-adopt who can help build her confidence and exposure prior to spay! She and her sister love each other dearly, so we'd love to find the girls a home together, but they also enjoy the company of other dogs and Cheyenne enjoys having a doggy friend for confidence, so if Cheyenne & Shadow can't be placed together, the ideal home would have another doggy friend for Cheyenne to love, play with, and draw more confidence from!

Story
Considering fostering Brownie? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/application Please do not call the shelter; do the application first. Sweet Brownie is a gentle soul who proves that age is truly just a number when it comes to a heart full of love. At ten years young, this precious girl has transitioned into her golden years with grace and a quiet, comforting presence. While her eyesight and hearing aren't quite as sharp as they used to be, Brownie navigates the world through her remarkably keen sense of smell and the soft touch of a friendly hand. She doesn't need to see or hear you perfectly to know exactly where the affection is, and she will happily lean into your legs for a slow, steady wag of appreciation. Brownie recently had several mammary tumors removed, and unfortunately one came back with evidence of malignant osteosarcoma cells. Due to this, the veterinarian recommended we NOT put Brownie through the stress of a spay surgery, and that we place her as a hospice foster instead. This means Forget Me Not would remain the legal "owner" of Brownie, and would cover any necessary medical expenses for her care over the rest of her lifetime, but you as her hospice foster would be her actual family, and could decide how you want to create and fulfill a bucket list for this beautiful soul. Life with Brownie is all about the simple, beautiful moments like a sun-drenched nap on a soft rug or the predictable comfort of a slow stroll around the block. Because she relies on her other senses, she is looking for a calm and stable hospice foster home where she can learn the layout and feel secure in her surroundings. She is the ultimate companion for someone seeking a low-energy, soulful friend who asks for very little but gives back an immense amount of quiet devotion. Brownie may move a little slower these days, but her capacity for companionship is boundless, and she is more than ready to spend her retirement being cherished by a family who appreciates the beauty of a senior dog. To ensure Brownie finds the safest possible retirement spot, it is important to note that a single-story home or a living space without significant stairs would be her absolute dream. Because her vision and hearing are limited, navigating steps can be a bit tricky, and she would much prefer a flat layout where she can confidently map out her surroundings. We would recommend a home with no other dogs, or a similarly slow and sensory-challenged dog, and no cats for Brownie please. She weighs almost 90 pounds, something to consider when taking in a hospice dog - can you (alone or with help) lift her into a vehicle if/when needed? All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Brownie is a suggested minimum of HOSPICE FOSTER NEEDED, NO FEE (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
